Y-Axis issues
Been fighting with this one ever since commissioning, X axis looks pretty decent but Y is just garbage and not too sure where to start looking. I've tried messing with the belt tensions, X/Y joiners and retightened every bolt on the toolhead yet but nothing has made any difference what so ever. Curious if anyone has seen similar?

V-Core 3.1 wide boy (with motion system from 4) has high vibrations in y at 125 hz
Im building a retro fitted 3.1 wide boy with v-core 4 motion system and toolheads from the 4 (named 3.1.4 from chiefdotjs :D) i have freshly rebuilt the frame and im using beacon on the one toolhead and a nozzle adxl on t1.
The printer is standing on my wooden floor (colleague suggested that maybe a rug could influence that)
I have checked all the screws they should be tight, i when i manually execute

V-Core 4 400mm from CoreXY to Hybrid
Hello,
I am trying to getting from CoreXY to Hybrid. I tightened the Hybrid Y belts well looser than the A/B belts. I took special care in cutting AND installing Y belts in the same way.
I just cannot make sense of the results....

V-core 3.2H belt/resonance issues
Hey folks,
I'm looking for some help interpreting these resonance and belt tension graphs. I've upgrades to 3.2H and currently do not have the hybrid belts in place.
I've tried various belt tensions from ~50-60Hz and I get mostly the same graph shape from all of them; I've had the first two spikes mostly overlapping (a little better than in the example attached) but there's always a spike between 100-150Hz (I've been able to get the third spike to mostly 'line up' on some tests as well, if that makes any difference)....

Resonance issues😕
On my Ratrig V3.1 500x500 (enclosed, with removed front and top panels) I get the first plots.
The frequencies of the peaks are nearly the same, but the amplitude of the dominant peak is different. So when I run the input shaper compensation the central frequency is at 30 for x and around 60 for y.
Is this normal? What can i do to improve here?...

Uneven belt tension graph
I've had this problem for a while now where I can't get the second peaks to overlap anymore. I've already done a lot of rebuilding, but the behavior remains the same. On image 1, I roughly tensioned by ear so that both belts sound about the same. On image 2, I tensioned by 2 turns. It doesn't go up, but instead a plateau forms. The belts are identical in length; I removed them and checked on a long table. One was one tooth too long. Since then, I've rebuilt the y-rails, both steppers, HD Idler,...

Hello, I don’t know how to get off this resonance. Anyone have any idea ?

Shaper Results Worse After GATS?
Hi, I need some advice regarding some sub-optimal belt tension and shaper graphs. I completed the initial build of my VC4 300 about a month ago, and I’ve been running it as a CoreXY machine with good success. I did my initial belt tensioning by ‘feel’, and got reasonably good results (ZV/MZV shaper recommendations).
I originally purchased it as a hybrid kit, and I’m ready to install the hybrid belts to completly finish the build. In preparation, I decided I should adjust the belt tension with GATS. I did that today, along with adjusting my belt lengths to ensure they are equal. I originally tried 1.5kg of weight, but they felt a bit loose, so I did the final tension at 2kg per side.
My belt and shaper graphs are attached. I feel that after GATS I have gone backwards. My guess is that I need more tension, but I’m looking for advice before I proceed. Part of my concern is that the GATS process appears to have made the balance between the x and y belts to be worse than before GATS, and the second hump is larger....

Bump in Z axis on X and Y graphs
Hey guys! Had a problem with strange vibrations through my prints. From the feel and sound thought about defective X carriage - when you are moving it by hand with belts, you can feel ballbearings “rattling” inside. Change to another one supplied with the kit - same result, changed the carriage to HIWIN Z1 preloaded - much better, but still feel this “rattling”. On the graph there is constant bump on specific Hz on X and Y graph. One of the discord members told it may be the carriage problem. Can this be true or should I investigate further other components (they seemed fine)? What usually the bump on Z suggests?

VC4 500 IDEX Y-axis having trouble
So I'm currently testing my resonance for my VC4 500 IDEX, and it seems that my Y direction is bad & not the same. I tuned my belts like the commission guide said and I even checked if the belts are equally tensioned with a pitch tuner app. Does anyone happend to know what the cause can be? Thanx in advance!
VC4 500 IDEX IS Y-axis
Just upgraded to the Toro titanium tube to fix my first layer issues and started re-doing the belt tension process. Used the GATS system to set tension with about 4.5kg of tension and got the following input shaper graphs on my y-axis. They look pretty awful, but all the x-axis charts look pretty respectable with MZV recommendations. I am at a loss for what may be causing it. I've traced belt paths, made sure they're centered on the idler stacks and pulleys, made sure the gantry is square (confi...

Possible belt rubbing?
Hello all, wondering if this is a belt rubbing (lower amplitude) or something else?

Possible Mechanical Issue or Binding
I've tightened my belts up a good bit after using some tea bottles as the weight for GATS (2 grams difference between each other), fixed a small gantry misalignment (roughly 2mm), lubed all X and Y carriages, and tightened down my electrical panel.
I'm a bit unsure as to what else may be in play here. Hopefully it's not a squareness issue.
Any thoughts?...

adxl345 v2
Hello, I have a problem with a Ratrig 3D printer. I installed a BTT ADXL345v2 USB accelerometer on my Raspberry Pi and it works fine, but in the Resonance Analysis section of the Raspberry Pi interface, I can't see the accelerometer. On that page, you can only set the host or motherboard setting. Do you have a solution? I also thought about connecting it via USB, but to the Octopus v1.1, but I don't know if that's possible. Do you have any ideas?
Thanks!...
Very low acceleration characteristics on V-Core 3.1 300
For some reason, on V-Core 3.1 I have quite low acceleration characteristics, although the graphs look as adequate as possible without unnecessary noise.

Need help to check my resonance graph. Vcore3.1 500mm.
Hello, can you help me to fix my resonance. Its a vcore 3.1 500mm with v1 toolhead with ebb42 can v1.2, orbiter runout filament and funnsor titanium x gantry.
Thank you in advance for your help!!...

Ok I got to the part with the 12 graphs and not understanding what I need to do next after I got them. Can anyone help me to understand.
Idea: Using NEMA Motors for Belt Calibration on V-Core 4
Hey everyone! 👋
I recently came across this interesting tweet from Josef Průša about their new automated belt tensioning system using NEMA motors to precisely calibrate and test dozens of tension variations:
