Bump in Z axis on X and Y graphs
Hey guys! Had a problem with strange vibrations through my prints. From the feel and sound thought about defective X carriage - when you are moving it by hand with belts, you can feel ballbearings “rattling” inside. Change to another one supplied with the kit - same result, changed the carriage to HIWIN Z1 preloaded - much better, but still feel this “rattling”. On the graph there is constant bump on specific Hz on X and Y graph. One of the discord members told it may be the carriage problem. Can this be true or should I investigate further other components (they seemed fine)? What usually the bump on Z suggests?

VC4 500 IDEX Y-axis having trouble
So I'm currently testing my resonance for my VC4 500 IDEX, and it seems that my Y direction is bad & not the same. I tuned my belts like the commission guide said and I even checked if the belts are equally tensioned with a pitch tuner app. Does anyone happend to know what the cause can be? Thanx in advance!
VC4 500 IDEX IS Y-axis
Just upgraded to the Toro titanium tube to fix my first layer issues and started re-doing the belt tension process. Used the GATS system to set tension with about 4.5kg of tension and got the following input shaper graphs on my y-axis. They look pretty awful, but all the x-axis charts look pretty respectable with MZV recommendations. I am at a loss for what may be causing it. I've traced belt paths, made sure they're centered on the idler stacks and pulleys, made sure the gantry is square (confi...

Possible belt rubbing?
Hello all, wondering if this is a belt rubbing (lower amplitude) or something else?

Possible Mechanical Issue or Binding
I've tightened my belts up a good bit after using some tea bottles as the weight for GATS (2 grams difference between each other), fixed a small gantry misalignment (roughly 2mm), lubed all X and Y carriages, and tightened down my electrical panel.
I'm a bit unsure as to what else may be in play here. Hopefully it's not a squareness issue.
Any thoughts?...

adxl345 v2
Hello, I have a problem with a Ratrig 3D printer. I installed a BTT ADXL345v2 USB accelerometer on my Raspberry Pi and it works fine, but in the Resonance Analysis section of the Raspberry Pi interface, I can't see the accelerometer. On that page, you can only set the host or motherboard setting. Do you have a solution? I also thought about connecting it via USB, but to the Octopus v1.1, but I don't know if that's possible. Do you have any ideas?
Thanks!...
Very low acceleration characteristics on V-Core 3.1 300
For some reason, on V-Core 3.1 I have quite low acceleration characteristics, although the graphs look as adequate as possible without unnecessary noise.

Need help to check my resonance graph. Vcore3.1 500mm.
Hello, can you help me to fix my resonance. Its a vcore 3.1 500mm with v1 toolhead with ebb42 can v1.2, orbiter runout filament and funnsor titanium x gantry.
Thank you in advance for your help!!...

Belt tension Shaketune
Ran shaketune for belt comparison, this is my belt tension and resonances. How am I looking?

input shaper part
Ok I got to the part with the 12 graphs and not understanding what I need to do next after I got them. Can anyone help me to understand.
Idea: Using NEMA Motors for Belt Calibration on V-Core 4
Hey everyone! 👋
I recently came across this interesting tweet from Josef Průša about their new automated belt tensioning system using NEMA motors to precisely calibrate and test dozens of tension variations:

Any tools or advice for installing belts??
I am trying to get the belt tensioning done in the comissioning process and only ever get 1 peak in the xy belt tensioning portion. I am somewhat confused as to whether 1 or 2 peaks are required per toolhead (500 IDEX), but email from ratrig says 2 are required for each toolhead. From what I can see in troubleshooting, and guidance from ratrig, says that the belts are rubbing on something. They look totally and perfectly fine to me and I can see no place there is any rubbing, but Im thinking I...
Y Spike on X-axis graph at 63hz
I cannot seem to make this spike go away. I squared up the frame. I tension the belts to about 16lbf. I made sure pulleys weren't binding. I am at a loss. I hope I'm not just having a brain fart moment. 💩
It's a V-Core 4 400 IDEX....

What is happening here?????
I am using RatOS with the BRS engineering 4WD upgrade. When I try to run a resonance test the print head is moving ±20mm left & right.
I can also hear the frequency increasing like the plane engine reving up. Any ideas what is happening & how to fix it???...
Solution:
That is exactly what's supposed to happen
I can't work out what these strange vibrations are
I have a VC3 400 and I can't work out what these strange vibrations are at the end of my graph. Also do they matter in this case?

Uneven Belt Graphs VC4 500
Hi! Whats the take on those belt graphs? Cant get them even for my life, so I think there is some deeper issue here. Shaper graphs look okay-ish. Thank you!

What Do You Think About My Graphs?
Just wondering if these results look good to you guys if there is some obvious room for improvement.

smart sensor
Has anyone come up with a solution for the second mounting hole on the smart sensor? The M3 screw doesn't engage and nothing holds that side in. It's a significant source of resonance in the toolhead when I'm testing. There's very little space between the sensor body and the endstop so I think I'm going to have trouble fitting an M3 nut in there. I'm going to try though. I would prefer not to glue it.
Belt tension VCORE4 IDEX 500mm
Hey guys, any advice on what to do? is this graph acceptable? Also how do I make sure my belts are under correct tension with no tensometer? I tried to use the frequency measuring tool on my phone, but the data it gives me is so random, basically impossible to read. Any advice?

V-core 500 Hybrid y resonances
good morning.
I've been trying to solve a problem with the y-axis resonance graphs for a few days now. The graphs in X are perfect, but I'm still having problems in y. I tried to check that there were no vibrations on the gantry and that the belts were sliding correctly. The last correction I made was to tighten the frame nuts to 13N/m. I noticed that it twists and dances a lot during printing. I always thought it was normal given the size of the printer (v core 500 hybrid) but unfortunately even tightening didn't solve much. I'm attaching the graphs....
