Layer shifts destroying perfect prints
hey guys - Im at about 400h print time now - V-Core 4 500 IDEX - its generally working fine and prints good,
however I now had 3 prints with massive layer shifts destroying the Parts.
It's 100% the same gcode, out of Orca Slicer with my regular PETG profile, it prints fine for the most part even. Printer is 100% stock.

Setting up my IDEX 500 and stuck on flashing the Control board.
I have other printers on ratOS2.0 but this is my first time on 2.1 and getting stuck at board not detected.
I have everything plugged out, The Pi is powered through the Octopus as per the doc's and a Usb C to USB A to the PI. ...
Suddenly heater bed not heating at expected rate while printing, log shows no abnormalities
Hi everyone, my V-Core 4 shut down mid print due to error described in title. The klippy log shows nothing unusual, the temperatures logged right before the error show exactly the expected temperature. Please take a look at the screenshots of the log, full log is attached too. The thermal fuse is alright, the bed heats just as expected after restart.
It's really annoying when you're in the middle of a day long IDEX multi material print and it just shuts down... If anyone has an idea what could cause this, I'd be very glad....
Vcore4 no UI, only ssh
Hi there, running a vcore 4 more than 6 month. Today I had to press the emergency stop. After that, the printer UI didn't come online anymore. First I thought it is some network issues but after switching to Ethernet I certainly doubt it. Also I still can ssh into the pi just fine. Any help is appreciated. tried running ratos doctor
EBB42 v1.2 SuperPINDA (z probe) Always Triggered
upgraded my vcore3.1 with the rr-toolhead & EBB42 board keeping the superpinda
LED working just fine. turning off when triggering manually.
Multimeter on signal pin to GND also switches between 0 - 5 V

redoing the full configurator after having done the updates incl flashing again made it work.....
Extremely high gantry twist, out of ideas.
Hi, so Ive been fighting heavy gantry twist, what feels strange is that nothing affects the numbers, they just jump +/- 10um, but always the problem is on the left side. Please see the images.
Even artificially if I pul down the left corner, like 1mm, the gantry twist is still in the same range.
Open for ideas or suggestions, thank you!...
Partcooling Fans on IDEX both 100% all time
Hi guys, I have the issue that my printer is completly new assembled and my part cooling fans are running 100% all time. I triple checked the wires of my sanyos, brown goes to the white cable and the whitecable goes to PA0 on the EBB42.
It is the same behaviour on both Fans. I also checked the connection with a multimeter. What am I doing wrong?
I already found this link with same issue? And the guy tells us that the Octopus is broken?...
No Extrusion
Hi, I’ve inherited this printer and have encountered what I think is my first clog. When loading new filament I can’t get anything to extrude.
I’m hesitant to start taking the tool head apart because I don’t want to mess anything up, so I’m looking for confirmation on the right steps and how to do so.
Any insight would be appreciated!...
