Sometimes, my game freezes like this, sometimes it doesn't. I had to play like this for the entirety of the first half, and tweaking graphics during the match did not help; so I decided to change the graphics back to how it originally was and tolerate it. By the 2nd-3rd round of the second half, things went back to normal.
I didn't leave anything running in the background for the entire 1st half, so at one point, I opened Microsoft Edge and Discord to join the Valorant Discord server, and had forgotten to close it. Then, I remembered, closed both programs, and it was around that point that the game ran smoothly again....
