Cyberpunk installed both in steam and on desktop mode not fully launching

Hello I download heroic games launcher so I could play my Gog version of cyberpunk 2077. Unfortunately when I booted up it doesn't even pop up and then the play button reappears again and same with the steam installation. I have never used heroic and I just got my steam deck 2 days ago so I'm entirely new to this. I've read online that you have to click on the exe and direct it to that but there is no cyberpunk 2077.exe in the installation folder I've tried running verify and repair and that say...

Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance (GOG-owned, Proton-GE-latest, HGL Flatpak) Crash on Main Menu Load

Hello all, I'm attempting to launch Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance (owned through GOG, launching through HGL) on Linux (EndeavourOS) through the HGL Flatpak, and I'm able to get the launcher up, the initial splash screen, but then it lists "Loading Main Menu . . ." in the upper left, and shortly after that it'll crash to the desktop. I tried a few times so apologies if that clutters the attached log, but any help would be appreciated! I did reinstall the HGL flatpak, no success there I'm afraid. If there's any other info you need, please do let me know!...

ProtonGE prefix has no game folder

Trying to install some mods on the ProtonGE latest (could be 10.7 or something like that). When I run the mod exe on the prefix, I can't find the game folder in the browse dialog to install the mod. I remember that previously game folder was mapped to the C:\GOG Games. Is there a way to solve this, is it enough to link a game windows to the prefix?

Winetricks downloads nothing

Hello everybody, I have a problem on Heroic Games Launcher for Cyberpunk 2077. The game works fine. No Problem with that. The problem is from the mods installation.: I entered the WINEDLLOVERRIDES value like in the picture, but i can't download anything with winetricks. Forums said i need d3dcomplier_47 and vcrun2022 from winetricks....

Where are the real games stored?

Whether it's installing mods or even just "save scumming", I can't figure out where anything is stored. I am using Heroic Flatpak Mint. Take Enter the Gungeon, trying to find the saves- Heroic says it's installed at "Games/Heroic/EnterTheGungeon" But that's at least not all of the game, certainly not where the saves are.

Amazon Prime download slow on Steam deck

Can't use Dedicated GPU on Rocket League

After upgrading to debian 13 my Dedicated GPU stopped working on Rocket League. Please help!

Solution:

Update Heroic, use GE-Proton-latest, remove the environment variables, disable use Steam runtime, also provide different logs with Use Dedicated GPU disabled and enabled.

Game "140" from GOG causing troubles

I have a game from GOG that is named "140" As soon as I open the detail page from that game I get the Error: Cannot get game info after some seconds. The first seconds I see the info. Also I can't install this game or launch it. Clicking Install instead of clicking on the title shows the install window but never get's ready. XBox controller is half compatible with Heroic Launcher

I am trying GOG atm for the first time but the XBox controller is giving me some dramas. I installed Tomb Raider Anniversary which my XBox Elite 2 controller works out of the box. I also installed 2013 Tomb Raider which the controller does not work at all. I did try adding the game to Steam to use the mapping but it does not work either....

Zenless Zone Zero Gaming Mode Screen issue

Hello, I've been playing ZZZ on my Steam Deck using Heroic for a while, starting it by going to Heroic Games Launcher on Gaming Mode, then starting the game. The launcher appears okay, but nowadays the game does not show up on my screen when I play it in Gaming Mode. I tried executing it by adding it to Steam via Heroic, same thing, it loads forever, but I hear the audio and can tell the game is responding to the controls, yet the screen is not displaying the game. The game works normally on Desktop Mode, with displays and all, but I want to play it on Gaming Mode due to being able to take screenshots of the funny dialogues and such, so I would like some help in solving this, if possible. Oh, also, I'm using Proton Experimental to run it....

Heretic + Hexen (GOG) with Gamescope from Game Mode not loading

Hi there, I've been trying to get the Heretic + Hexen rerelease working correctly on my Steam Deck for the last day and I can't get it to load past a black screen when I have Gamescope installed and launching the game from Game Mode. If I manually uninstall the Gamescope Flatpak, the game launches correctly but it would be annoying to constantly uninstall and reinstall Gamescope. The game works every time I launch it from Desktop Mode, both with Gamescope installed or not. I've attached two logs: One with Gamescope installed and one when it is uninstalled....

Solution:

For HDR to work, you need to use the "beta" branch of Heroic. Note that this might break controller input (hence the beta)
