How to pull Cloud save from EPIC desktop onto my newly installed Heroic on SteamDeck
I've been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance (the first one) on my PC via Epic Games. I'd like to pick up on my Steam Deck. I've installed the game and all its DLC via Heroic Launcher but when I open the game there are no save files. When I looked into the settings it seemed there was only the option to force Sync but I assume that will force the Steam Deck file to overwrite my ongoing save on the Epic Cloud servers? Sorry if a noob question - scared to lose my progress!
Games From Epic Games Not Showing Up In Library
I added Genshin Impact to my library (in the Epic Games store) but when I go to the library tab in Heroic there's nothing.
Battle.Net Installer on fresh arch install
Hi, I just finished installing my fresh arch installation and installed Heroic Games Launcher using the AUR package heroic-games-launcher-bin. Apparently when I try to add Battle.Net by clicking "Add Game" followed by filling up the Title and clicking "Run installer first" it simply does not open the installer.
Looks like nothing happens. I attached the log....
Witcher 3 stopped launching (before or after 2.16)
I had been playing Witcher 3 in the past few weeks. I had done half a dozen or more sessions, most of them of over an hour. Today the game stopped launching from Heroic. The Play Now button reacts, goes to Playing, but then after a while goes back to "Play Now"
I'm running a Macbook Pro 2021 with M1 Pro chip and 16gb of RAM. I'm using Whisky to run the game, set it up in the past and it worked for some time. This problem happened even before I updated Heroic to 2.16. Log file attached...
Rocket League isn't working (again)
One of my friends who doesn't have discord was trying to install Rocket League on his Mac, but this keeps happening. Any ideas?
[HEROIC/GAME] OBS Game Capture doesn't capture HGL installed games
Hello everyone!
I have an issue using obs-vkcapture plugin with HGL installed games. It doesn't seems to capture in OBS when I launch a game. On the other side, everything works with Steam.
I tried to add
OBS_VKCAPTURE=1 and OBS_GLCAPTURE=1 in the environment zone in the game options, and then tried obs-gamecapture as an argument, with no results. Everything with first Wine-GE, and then with GE-Proton with UMU activated. I also tried to add the game to Steam and then adding env OBS_VKCAPTURE=1 %command%, still nothing. Finally, I added OBS_VKCAPTURE=1 to /etc/environment, works for Steam, not HGL. 🙁 ...Stuck on Getting Download Size / Getting Install Size
When does this go away? It's been like this for multiple games. I'm looking in logs but having trouble seeing anything relevant. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot?
Epic purchased gtaV on macos with paid crossover 24.0.7 won't launch and complains about python mod
So trying to figure this GTAV on mac (from epic games) stuff out, but its almost whiplash going back and forth. I have PAID crossover 24.0.7 and latest Heroic. GTAV "paid" from Epic (well, from a freebee a year or three ago).
I launch RockStar launcher in Crossover, authenticates w/RS, then launch GTAV on Heroic. It complains about missing python modules. The scripts it mentions aren't on my mac. The error that pops up: An error has occurred! Try to Logout and Login on your Epic account....

Game shortcuts no longer launch the game
Since the last update, the heroic shortcuts are no longer starting the games, it just opens the launcher, on the library screen, I believe it is something related to the new Protocol URL, as shown in the log.
32-bit applications using llvmpipe instead of GPU when using DXVK
Tried two 32bit applications through HGL and they both revert to using llvmpipe for graphics instead of detecting the GPU (nvidia in my case). The games I tried were Mount and Blade - Warband and Max Payne. Warband had been working about a week previously. OS is Bunsenlabs Boron, essentially Debian Bookworm (12).
HGL detects the GPU fine and it still works perfectly on newer games. I set up an external, non flatpak version of Wine (10.2) with WineGUI and dropped DXVK into it and those 32bit games work correctly again. It seems to be something to do with the HGL flatpak.
Leaving this here in case someone wants to look into it.

URI Schema Not Working
Hi there,
I'm working on porting an app that implements Heroic's URI schema, however it doesn't seem to work as intended.
Running
open heroic://launch/legendary/e5071e19d08c45a6bdda5d92fbd0a03e will launch Heroic, but won't start the game specified....
Macos, everything works fine. Can i uninstall Epic Games OG launcher and GOG to save space?
Just the title, are they required to be installed to run Heroic or are they synced online and i can delete them? If uninstallable, can i delete the library/user files too?
Game Library not updating
I've cleared cache, reset heroic, rebooted PC, and I keep getting the following errors in the logs and my new games aren't updating in Heroic.
