how do i install civ 7 on my mac ?

Hey guys I’m having crazy issues to achieve the download of civ 7 on my Mac, I did all the crazy things possible but still nothing anyone that has a real experience on how to achieve it?? Basically looks like that steam running from heroic games launcher is writing on the disc the download of civ 7, it gets to 89% and then drops, stall and block the download saying that the file is damaged. Anyone with experience on this??...

Script after game ends won't start because game is 'running' but it's just EA App on the background.

How can I fix this scenerio? I have a script that will kill the 3 EA Services after the game is ended (DeadSpace3) but nothing happens when game is closed, because EA App is making the game still "run". I tested the script on terminal and it works great.

vampire survivors stuck at loading

i have been trying everything for abt 4 hours i have tried multiple proton versions and wine if i try to launch the game offline "it cant log" in the game i. changed legendary file the game stopped launching completely with an error about "cli" no matter what i do i cant get it to work https://0x0.st/KLXT.log the log above i launched the game and it still got stuck at the loading screen...

generate new wine prefix folder

If I moved my mount point for my game drive, is there a way to get Heroic to move all the wine prefix locations with it for all my games?....or be able to generate a new prefix folder manually without having to reinstall each game so the settings get corrected? "Move Game" doesn't do this...only with the install location. If I just make a folder for the prefix it will obviously be empty and not work....unless Heroic will populate that automatically after making the folder and running the game.

Rdr2 on steamdeck problem with fps

Hello, i am using heroic game launcher for RDR2 on my steamdeck. But the problem is everytime i try to open RDR2 the loading take 6-7 minutes and i am stuck on 1-2 fps. Its only using my CPU and not my GPU annynody can help me with this??

Steam not opening after pressing launch

Hollow Knight from GOG has issues with fullscreen / borderless mode

I have been playing Hollow Knight using GOG these last few weeks without any issues. About one week ago, I started experiencing issues, where Hollow Knight would glitch out on the start menu. The application would completely freeze; moving my cursor doesn't move my cursor in-game. Only Alt-tabbing to another application and then returning back would update the screen. Turning off borderless mode and simply playing windowed solves this issue, even though I would like to find a way to play in borderless / windowed mode. Any help would be appreciated. (I am on the Wayland Session of KDE Plasma using the native version of Hollow Knight)...

Ubisoft Games HDR

Hello guys. I have a few questions with ubisoft games. I like to play games with HDR enabled. This works with the variables "PROTON_USE_WAYLAND=1" and "PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1". But under Wayland the ubisoft Launcher has a black window so that i can start games only in blind mode 😂 i have heard that i can open uplay games with a link like "uplay://launch/<GameID>". how can i realize this? any idea? or another solution to start uplay games?

New Linux user can't get Epic games to launch

Hello. I tried reinstalling Heroic with the command from the "Read Me" pin and I tried logging out and back into Epic. So far I've only tried two Epic games and they both fail to launch. I get the "Playing" message followed by a small box popping up with a progress bar and then it just closes. I got a Steam game to work without issue with the Steam app.

Solution:

Update your Nvidia drivers to at least 550, ideally 580...

Having trouble launching GoG version of Silksong on my Steam Deck, any suggestions?

If I run the launch.sh, it does launch, but my saved game data is missing. I have to start a new game. But when I launch through heroic or steam, it just fails. I’m trying the Linux version.
