JoinPublic Widget: to sign-in or not?
I am making a public widget that a client will install a code snippet to their website. It's a public website. My backend creates an API Key that is used to create an instance on the customer website. Then they paste a snippet of code that initializes - checks for a valid API key - and another snippet that renders where the UI elements get rendered.
I have backend checks right now to make sure the APIKeys are valid, the widget keys match the original API key, etc. And RLS policy, but just

But is there a way to "sign in" without having an official sign in flow? I want this to be plug-n-play for the client website....jwt malformed with OAuth2 for analytics/endpoints/logs.all
Seeing {"message":"jwt malformed"} for requests to analytics/endpoints/logs.all using an OAuth2 token.
I am using the same token for creating edge functions and more via the MCP.
Is this endpoint not available for OAuth tokens? ...
How to update the updated_at field automatically
Hey! I'm working with supabase database and I need to create new table with update_at field and that field will be updated automatically on new change. I wondering if there is a better way to enable it rather than that I'll implement complete trigger snippet for that.
I'll probably need it for multiple migrations.
I found that postgresSQL have this
modadatetime extension but I'm ensure if it should work out of the box with the latest postgres.

Supabase local development with Podman (Linux Fedora 42)
I've been trying to run Supabase for local development using Podman instead of Docker, since the docs state that it should be possible.
I got the regular containers to work and I can access them as well. However, I can't get the edge functions to work properly.
When I run
supabase functions serve it seems to work at first, but when I call an edge function I get this in my terminal:

Sync s3 keys with vercel
I am making use of the great vercel and github integration so that if I create a new feature branch I get a vercel deployment as well as a supabase branch and the env vars for the supabase branch are synced across to vercel so it points to the right supabase branch.
However, it does not sync across any s3 keys. I am using the s3 client for supabase storage. I notice that actually unlike with local dev there are no access keys created automatically on preview deployments.
Is there a way to have this set up so that I don't have to manually create s3 keys for each new feat branch and then also update them in the vercel environment?...
