DH Skipping Chunks while generating chunks in generated world?

Not sure why it's doing this, it generates like 200MB of data in the -wal file and then sometimes doesn't even add it to the main DH file when saving and closing. It clears the wal file back to 0bytes, but barely adds any data to the main DH, if at all sometimes.

I found the issue, had to set it from LZR (Fast/Big) to the other method

every like month i have to reupdate and its really annoying cuz i want to play the newest version cuz my pc cant handle dh without performance mods like sodium

LODs updating very slow

My whole world is pregenerated. When first joining the world, I can load in all off the chunks (2048) render distance pretty quickly. But, when moving throughout the world, the LOD detail levels very often struggle to keep up when the player is moving quickly. Which makes sense. Except when you consider that it can load all the chunks from nothing way faster than it can update a few LODs to a slightly higher detail level. I would think updating detail levels would be a less intensive process than loading in chunks from nothing. Again, to clarify, I have distant generation turned off this is purely loading in and updating LODs....

DH blend start too close

It's an issue I never had before until the nightly build for 1.21.4. Server and singleplayer start the LOD around 6-7 chunks distance while the server I'm playing on is around 10-12 RD and in singleplayer I'm at 16 chunks render distance so DH is displaying the LOD over the actual chunks but way too soon, so I'm seeing the LOD instead of the chunks. I couldn't find a setting to correct it

Stuck on 16 LOD render distance on server

I cant change the render distance to higher than 16 when Im playing on this server. Everytime I type anynumber higher than 16 and click "done" it went back to 16. Even if I change on the config to 128, for example, on the game it'll be still 16. I've pre generated a good amount of chunk around my base, I even use Bobby mod to make sure....

how to use dh with luanr client

it says it requires indium but indium isnt compatible with sodium

Anyone familiar with slow generation and stitching issues / squares on water? (9900X + 4080 Super)

I used the default DH settings and set it to "I paid for the whole CPU" lol, but strangely its still generating very slowly... like SUUUUPER slowly... been staring at this empty spot for a solid minute

DH RC2 on server

I'm using the dev branch RC2, installed on the client, and put the latest version of the plugin on the server. Lodes are not sent to the client. I'm a little confused, do I need to install the mod on the server, or is the plugin enough? And is there currently support for a full-fledged server core mod, or does it only work on clients and the server means another client? minecraft version 1.19.2 server core "Archlight" (fork paper for working with plugins and mods)...

How to configure the cloud height when using shaders?

DH works great but the clouds of Complementary are a bit low. If I try to increase the cloud height in the sodium options it doesn't change anything? Is there a solution or workaround for this available?

If those are shader clouds edit the height in shader settings

Understanding DH's Range & Border Limits?

Hey all, I was just wondering if yall could help me figure out the numbers for where and how to set up DH border limit? I thought I read somewhere that there was a way to specificy a limit to which DH would stop generating chunks afterwards. For reference, I used chunky to pre-gen a radius of 4000 (chunks, not blocks I believe?) by doing /chunky radius 250c and ran it to completion. I couldn't figure out at which point DH has reached that point if it makes sense. So far it's been running and genning really well on this modpack!...

Trying to install DH in Mystic Horizons modpack

I'm trying to install DH on this modpack and when i strat it, MC crash with this message The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: DH found, but one or more API methods are missing. Iris requires DH [2.0.4] or DH API version [1.1.0] or newer. Please make sure you are on the latest version of DH and Iris....

Distant Horizons generating incorrect LOD with WorldPainter map

Has anyone experienced issues with worldpainter maps and distant horizons? When I go to test my map in-game, distant horizons is loading the vanilla world generation instead of the custom worldpainter landscape. Is this maybe something I'm doing in my WP settings that's confusing distant horizons? I can grab a screenshot later if that would be useful....

Disable Fog

i have this weird fog while dh rendering is enabled, i've turned off fog everywhere i found, and still have fog, i read through another post with a simmilar issue, but found no solution. i'm on 1.21.4 using iris with shaders disabled....

DH Shaders Incompatibility

trying to turn on shaders with DH gives the following error message: "error: java.lang.illegalstateexception: only indirect is supported with iris." I have sodium 0.6.2, iris 1.8.1 and dh 2.2.1 installed on mc 1.21.1, the versions seem to adhere the guides but this error still occurs... help pls & thank you!...

using distant generation with world maps like xaero?

have a feeling that due to the nature of distant generation, this won't be possible; but might as well ask anyway: when gennerating LODs using distant generation, is it possible for the LOD data to be used to display data about far away chunks on a map like xaero's world map, similarly to how gennerating chunks using Chunky can display them to the map?...

DH 2.30 Beta (Dec 31 2024) - Minecraft 1.21.4 Server Spam

Not a huge deal, but I was wondering if there is a way to fix the server log spam you get from warning messages like this: [17:51:26] [DH-World Gen Thread[0]/WARN]: Detected block scheduled tick access in a far chunk [124, 77], pos: class_2338{x=1984, y=66, z=1245}, status: minecraft:structure_starts, currently generating: [122, 77] It can make entering commands through the server cmd or reading other messages a challenge because of it....

Update: Removing C2ME from my server fixed the issue! Thanks for the help.
