Patchy water LOD / bug?
Since moving from 2.2.1 to nightly 2.3.0 water has stopped rendering correctly for close, fully rendered chunks.
Water contains these patchy chunks of different coloured water. With the blis shaders it just looks brighter and extra reflective, without shaders it just looks like lighter patches of water. I removed all other mods I had installed, I only have DH, fabric API, iris and sodium.
Running on 1.21.1 but also saw the same thing on 1.21.4...

Issue while using terralith and tectonic

Issue with Distant Horizons Rendering
Distant Horizons isn't working quite well for me, things don't load properly, and when I click 'enable rendering,' that message appears.

Nightly build vs Release candidate?
I'm setting up a server for Fabric, Minecraft 1.20.1, and was hoping to use the Nightly Release so that I can have the server-side distant loading features. However, I'm just getting 404 errors on the git page, seems like I'd have to wait.
Is the Release Candidate for 2.3.0 still stable enough (as much as one can get with an alpha release), or is it really worth just waiting for the Nightly Release git page to be functional again?...
Server does not support DH
I installed DH as a plugin on my 1.21.1 Purpur server but it is not being recognized. DHSupport shows up as an installed plugin. The plugin version is the latest release version 0.6.1 and my client version is 2.3.0-b-dev. What should I do to debug this?
Solution:
can you try with this build

i'm using photon shaders and i keep seeing buged shadows in there.
question, lod quick-reset
I am building a large island with distant horizons, axiom, and some other not as important mods.
when i make large changes in the world, it doesnt really update the lod chunks, and with limited to 32 render distance, and limited LOD updating, its a little difficult to follow the shape of the island that i have already built as im building it.

is it possible to play without preloading chunks using a ryzen 7 3700x
That's my CPU. I want to play with Tan's Huge Trees, Geophilic, and of course, Tectonic. By not preloading chunks, I mean: if I let Distant Horizons generate chunks for, say, the first hour, will I be able to play normally afterward without needing to wait again?
Stramge things
I have no mods changing the colormaps , but it is still white lods. Althoug i got such thing like blank lods. Ye
Shaders problem
Hi guys, I have problem with distant Horizons not rendering properly when using with shaders. When I log in to world DH not rendering at all. Next i reload DH settings by changing random thing then water and stained glass are completely invisible . I tried different settings in DH, shaders, optifine with our without other mods. Currently I'm playing in 1.19.2 and complementary reimagined shaders but problem occurs in 1.20.1 also. Attached screenshots below 👇
Chunk generation error:
I'm pretty new to this so feel free to give me tips.
I get the following error after running Chunky in SP without DH in the mods, after chunky was done I re-added DH 2.3. (as it's recommended in /chunky)
```[17:34:07] [CompletableFutureDelayScheduler/WARN]: Unable to get chunk at pos [[-41, -45]] after [180] milliseconds....
Random large bright patches in the distance
Every now and then I'll get these random bright patches (I assume it's to do with shadows) that either take forever to fix themselves or need a reload. How can I mitigate or stop them from showing up?
Mod list included if it helps. Minecraft 1.20.4, Fabric loader 0.15.6....
Essential Mod lan hosting
Hey I pre-generated world with chunky mod and I want to play with my friends on Essential mod but they don't see the chunks that i pre-generated. If i send them whole save file they would be able to see it or not really? We use minecraft 1.20.1 fabric 0.16.9 distant horizon 2.2.1
Non-existing blocks showing up outside render distance.
Some blocks i removed keep showing up outside my render distance even though they arn't there. it is in a multiplayer world, no error messages or logs from what i can presume. The modpack has 130 mods. I will include images of the list, and of my problem to try and give context to it. hope the info i have given can help in uderstanding my problem.
Solution:
I think i have found what causes this problem. it is minning more that one block from breaking one. like minning 5x5 at a time seems to cause the other blocks that wasn't specifically mined the vanilla way to stay in distant horizons. this case seems to have come from the Apotheosis minning tool affix which makes tools mine a 5x5 area.
Want to learn how to find incompatibilities in modpack
I have several optimization mods in my modpack and one or more of them is incompatible. how do I view and accurately read which ones are causing the issue?
Here's the crash log:...
Chunky With Server Side DH
I want to preload chunks on my server that has the nightly build server side DH with embedium on forge and and was wondering if you should still turn off DH if youre using the server side version to prevent the swiss cheese LODs. And if so should i turn off both the server side and client side jar?
