Pregen command doesn't do anything, only way to load lods is to visit chunks (on server)
This is happening on a multiplayer 1.20.1 instance,

so the "enable distant generation" in the client needs to be turned on for the lods to load

Having some issues understanding what I'm doing wrong on this server.
I have pre generated (genning set to INTERNAL_SERVER to get all the features of the terrain and to pre gen real chunks) with the /dh pregen command a 500 chunks area. But when I go in, is not seemingly sending all the imported data for a 100 chunk render distance. I am unsure as to why it's doing this, can anyone help?...

DH has a tendency to have long pauses. if you wait long enough, everything should eventually import

fail to load shaders with chunks fade in
Hello everyone, we just updated to the 1.21.8 version of minecraft on our server with friends and now every time i try to use a shader (no matter if it's tagged as compatible or not as in the FAQ for versions above DH 2.2 ) it says in chat it fails to load as seen in ss, I tried toning down the settings to low for both DH and each shader i tried but it doesnt do anything from what I can tell. I'm guessing it has happened before but i havent seen a clear solution to my problem. Please help TT

Issues loading chunks (distant generation disabled)
I'm using DH with shaders and a world generation mod called JJ thunder to the max. It does make the world more than 1k blocks tall, but I still find it weird. Some chuncks take tens of minutes to load, and I have a lot of visual bugs n the loaded ones. I didn't change many settings. Can someone help ?

Render problem with replay mod
Please help me, I am trying to make a replay with DH, everything works properly except for the replay renderization. Once I render the video it looks like that. I've tryied many things, I tryied to set overdraw prevention on 1.0, to change shader. Nothing works. Actually without the shaders there are no problems but idk is there any fix? Or any shader that works properly.

it's fine i fixed it, it was actually about my modpack, some mods where uncompatible

LODs only load after exploring the chunks
I think I made a configuration error, cause now only when I explore do LODs get generated. They do stay after that but then there'S holes where I haven't explored. Help would be appreciated!
DH + Vivecraft + spyglass = 10fps
In greater detail, when using distant horizons with vivecraft, activating the spyglass causes the game to drop from 120+fps to 10-20fps. i brought this up in the vivecraft server and they said it was a memory leak in distant horizons. the game runs well until the spyglass is used, after that the bug persists until the client is fully shut down and restarted.

Why is this happening?
I am using minecraft 1.21.8 (latest) and distant horizon seems to have a big weird issue when entering the nether and coming out. LODs do not render whatsoever after exiting. Which makes shaders look strange as well.
No shaders or minimal shaders
Is there a way to use Distant Horizons without shaders or with a shader that only adds DH capability?
Optimal way to generate world and LODs for a server.
Given that distant horizons' built in pregen hallucinates structures, is the best way currently to generate the playable region via chunky, then enable dh after a restart and pregen with dh again? Thanks!

Distant Horizons + C2ME: explain to a dummy
While researching DH, I saw a lot of conflicting information about whether or not C2ME provides a performance boost... nor what settings they should be configured to for best results. What does each mod do to world generation? Does C2ME impact the generation of LOD chunks? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Handeling artifacts for buildings above ground
Hello,
While playing with DH 2.3.4-b on my server - which doesn't have the plugin installed, and this is intended - I've noticed these weird artifacts below my islands, which are floating in the sky.
Is there anything I can do to remove them ?
I've read thru the FAQ and I don't recall seeing anything about these. I wouldn't know how to call them so it's a bit hard to search for this specific problem in the already posted threads.

Solution:
For that make sure the cave culling height is at or below the ground level below the floating structure
You can also just disable cave culling
If both won’t work you can increase the vertical quality preset...

Memory Usage question
When I put DH onto my server, the server ram usage jumps up 8GB of ram. Usual is about 26gb of usage (ATM10 server) but DH makes it jump to 34gb even if no players are online. Is this normal? I use tectonic as a terrain generator and obviously all of the ATM 10 mods
