How to access settings for DH?
Hello, Recently downloaded DH for the first time and i am having a hard time figuring out how to change things with it. Using fabric and sodium.
Ya just can not find any way to change anything...

Updated from DH 2.0.3aDev to DH 2.3.3, now not working
As stated from title, also went from oculus 1.6.15aDH to 1.8.0 to support the new DH version, now it refuses to render even with shaders off, rest of the mods havent changed at all, already tried clearing config file. Cannot for the life of me figure this out. Image shows whats happening. Any help MASSIVELY appreciated

Stuttering Issue
Recently I made a basic fabric MC 1.21 modpack (in Modrinth app): including DH 2.2.1-a, Sodium 0.6.13, Noisium 2.3.0, Iris Shaders 1.8.8 (I plan to try and add bliss later), Faster Random 5.1.0, and C2ME 0.2.0+alpha.11.109. Overall it runs okay-ish in game, but I keep getting this stuttering that happens every few seconds. My frames vary a ton, from 35-85fps, and I’ve allocated 12GB of ram to the modpack within Modrinth. I’m pretty new to modding Minecraft and even newer to DH, so I’m not sure...
I can see transparent blocks through solid blocks
Hi there, I suddenly had this bug while everything was working fine. I can see all transparent blocks through solid blocks. I tried with several different shaders and the problem came back on all shaders that support DH and it disappeared with all shaders that did not support it. I have not seen anyone with this exact problem in forums or in faq channels and I do not know how to continue enjoying DH with shaders now. I tried tweaking settings, update my drivers, installing a newer version of DH...

SMP random long freezing and sometimes crashes
Running fabulously optimized. For some reason on the DH SMP and it alone, I get these regular random freezes in gameplay that usually last around 30 seconds to a minute, sometimes (rarely) more than that, either that or it crashes after some time of being frozen. Ram usage is at acceptable levels, game runs fine (300+ fps) outside of these freezes. It has to be something around the server because i've tried on other multiplayer servers and singleplayer worlds and they worked fine
How to extend beyond 4096 chunks
I have a 1:1 Hawaii map that is about to finish generating that spans 205K x 205K blocks in total... There's some ocean around it so maybe only need a bit more than 8192. I successfully changed it in my 1.21 profile, but for some reason, in 1.21.4 it keeps switching the config values back to 4096... am I doing something wrong?

like the idea very much
but when i tried friends connecting on my server got unplayable ping more than 10 sec
if nobody move for a while it get a little bit better like 1/2 full second latency ...
Solution:
Try reducing DH bandwidth limit server side
You can also try reducing the server side CPU laod preset...

I saw a message in this discord about how DH rendering got hit with a bug a couple releases ago, so which is better for the time being, chunky or DH?

Simple clouds looks fantastic but the LODs render over DH and just looks jank, seems to be the same with better clouds reforged. It sort of fixes it using shaders but still janky.

Weird box LODs appear when I teleport
When I tp from one place to another, and then let's say I come back, weird boxes appear instead of the proper already generated LODs. This happens in singleplayer and multiplayer on last 1.21.4 release and last nightly build, with and without shaders. My mod list is this.
Solution:
It works now with the latest nightly build after the commit "maybe break n-sized rendering but fix LOD loading getting stuck".

Cant keep up! Is the server overloaded?
Hey the server keeps getting this message running DH 2.3 on lithosphere world gen.
Distant generation is off
Used chunky to preload a little to test but the server still gets that same overloaded message when exploring
Is this normal for modded worlds running dh?...

Is Pregen on internal server supposed to be this slow?
I'm wondering if there are any settings I can turn on to speed it up, I have C2ME, lithium, faster random, noisium, modern fix.

4096 chunks is huge, yes, this is expected

LODS dont load after I change a single setting
I changed the LOD quality setting and now the LODs that have taken hours to load are gone... plz helpp
Distant Horizons making my CPU (i7 14700k) go to 100% and then crashes in less than a minute
I just got it to load at all with the attached mod list (just Simply Opt and voice chat) but now it makes my CPU go to 100% when I load in a world and then crashes after about 30 seconds. It doesn't lag much in that time, I still get 100-120 fps. My CPU Load is on Balanced and even setting it to Low Impact it still uses 75% and stutters quite a bit. Is an i7 14700 meant to be struggling this hard with it?

Not sure what to do. It's loaded some LoDs when this came up once, but only in one direction, and it hasn't done so since....
Solution:
as of two minutes ago, I suspect that it may have to do with using a config file for the nightly build (for 1.21.4 pre-full release) on the full release for 1.21.5
Server side via paper plugin performance
Hi I'm running the server side distant horizons plugin but it seems to get pretty bad performance.
It uses 3.68% of a tick with only 400 players connected. Attached a screenshot from our spark report and can provide the full report as well.
Is there any config settings I can tweak to increase performance? ...
