How would I manually "vacuum" my database file size?
As mentioned in 5/4 announcements, in order to reduce an older world database file size I would need to manually "vacuum" the data, I haven't found any information yet on how to do this since I am not well versed in this type of stuff and am hoping someone would be able to assist (even links to vids/guides would be greatly appreciated)
FPS Cut down
After installing the DH mod for 1.20.1 fabric, my frames got cut down by half (from 100+ frames), to make sure it wasnt just my pc i disabled the renderer but my frames are still cut down to around 40-50 frames
I do believe it has something to do with the mod because its sitting at a stable 40-50 fps rather than fluctuating downwards like normal performance issues
Any solution?...

LOD's not working on version 2.0.4 FORGE 1.20.1
After installing v2.0.4 of DH, LOD's will no longer render. Im using Oculus 1.7.0, Embeddium 0.3.17, Physics Mod Pro v169, and Alex's Caves 1.1.4.
Is multiverse broken in 2.0.4?
Is multiverse broken in the latest dev update? It worked in 2.0.3, but ever since I migrated, it seems to not recognize old world folders in the same dimension and always creates new ones. Setting multiverse to as low as 0.05 has no effect.
Extremely large performance hit when looking in certain direction
I was playing normally when out of nowhere my FPS dropped from 144 (about 100 with Bliss Shader) to only 30-40 (even worse with shaders). The strange thing is that this would only happen when I looked in a certain direction. Restarting Minecraft or reloading the LODs didn´t work.

I can't start up mc with DH installed [singleplayer]
i keep on getting a -1 error code saying that "Error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com/seibel/distanthorizons/api/interfaces/override/rendering/IDhApiShadowCullingFrustum"
and the only way i can start it is to disable the mod, i already deleted the config file but that doesn't help, are there any other ways to fix this?...
Lag spikes with distant generation enabled
Hi! I'm trying to use Distant Horizons, however, if I enable distant generation in the mod settings, I get very large lag spikes that get progressively worse as the world is loaded for longer, eventually completely hanging the game

also I can confirm: the incompatibility is between distant horizons and geocluster

I.st it say that the fml modded file is incompatible with the server and I am trying to use it in a aternos server
and I have downloaded the correct version which is 1.20.1 forge version - 47.2.0

Transfer LODs from singleplayer to multiplayer in 2.0.4
I have a singleplayer copy of the map the server I play uses. Previously, I flew around and generated the LODs which I then transferred to the server's LOD folder so I didn't have to generate them there.
With the recent updates, I spent a few hours migrating the singleplayer world's LODs and everything works beautifully. However, when I try to transfer the new sqlite file to the server's LOD folder, the LODs never load when I join the server. It only generates sqlite-shm and sqlite-wal files alongside it. There are no errors....
DH not using the colors of blocks from a texturepack?
Specially on the grass it seems to use the default grass color instead of the texturepack?

Oh wait. I just restarted the game and it seem to work. Probably cant change the texturepack while being in a loaded world. My bad

Lods no longer appearing
I pregenerated my world with Chunky (16k block radius) after 2.0.4 was released, and it's been working fine until now, but for some reason it's stopped showing any of the lods outside a very low distance. My normal view distance is set to 32 and I have my DH distance set to 128, but it looks like it's only showing maybe 40-50 max.
I found this issue when I went to The End on the creative version of my world and generated the terrain there, again using Chunk at 16k block radius. I've attached an image of what it looked like after it was done. That's no where near the 128 chunks I was expecting to see, in fact it's pretty much exactly the same as I saw before I started Chunky.
Any ideas what's happening here? As I say, it was working fine before and I'm not sure what's changed, other than me updating DH when it asked me to earlier today....
Solution:
i believe it's generating from scratch which might take a long time, but if it's truly stuck, delete the lods and let it regenerate from a fresh database

Has the bug with passable leaves been fixed or planned to be fixed?
Back in 2.0.2 the passable leaves mod would stop leaves from being rendered in LODs, has this been fixed or planned to be fixed?
1.20.1 with shaders
Is it possible to get dh with shaders in 1.20.1 because i dient get it to Start with the seemingly right Version of dh(2.0.1a-1.20.1) and Iris(1.7 for 1.20.1) .

cave culling?
disable it as by default it's Y=40, and since dragon fight was designed before 256 build height it might be places quite low...

How does distance Horizon work?
Hello, I'd like to know if anyone has an idea of how distance horizon works in detail. I already know that it implements a lod function for land and buildings, but I'd like to know how you go about it in detail. do you use some kind of special shader to display loitan chunks or something?
