LAN Multiplayer support?
I am playing on 1.20.1, hosting a LAN world, having a few friends join me, exact same modlist. everything works perfectly for me (using Iris + DH 2.0.3a) but they are not generating LODs at all.
Is this mod supposed to function via LAN the same way it does on a multiplayer server?...
Water color not reflecting biome?
hi, wondering if this is a bug or normal behavior? it seems to be distributed weirdly, like some lods have correct color and some don't?

Overdraw option?
wsg everyone, whats the option again to fix this overdraw (more like underdraw), it's most noticable the higher up i go? I'm using oculus 1.70.1 with the dev build of DH so there's gonna be bugs that's expected, but I wanna figure out what the overdraw vertical option is (if there is one)

how to delete dh config in prism?
My game is stuck on the loading screen. I tried making whole new instance of FO and it still gets stuck. How do I delete the dh config in prism? I can't find the config folder
Also, the problem of it just getting stuck is my main issue, the prism thing isn't as big of a deal...
Distant chunks rendering weird
I am using distant horizons on a server with some friends and some of the chunks I have rendered in are not showing the LODS properly, I added a screenshot to show whats happening. The only thing running on the server is a data pack for terralith everything else is vanilla. I am using the bliss shaders

i tried many ways to prevent this message to dissappear but it doesnt. any ideas?

Grass block LOD and Water blending
Probably already answered these questions, sorry, could not find, is it possible to somehow change the texture of grass block or somehow smooth out the sharp change in color of water between the chunks, water is okay if using shaders (so it doesn't really matter if there's a solution to this or not, just interesting), but the green grass blocks a little knocked out, no other solution than High preset?
Solution:
you can change grass side rendering mode in DH config > Advanced Options > Graphics > Advanced Graphics Options > Grass Side Rendering

Render error with non-solid blocks
When LODs change for normal chunks, I can clearly see this visual bug with fences, glass panes, torches etc.
When you move back a little just so the chunk is visible like normal, but only non solid-blocks are displayed as LODs.
How can I fix this?...

DH not properly assigning LODs to dimensions?
I might be misunderstanding how DH assigns LODs to dimensions, but playing the modpack ATM9, the mining dimension (
allthemodium:mining
) keeps getting built within the overworld, causing chunks to be completely mixed and looking very broken. Other dimensions added by the modpack do get populated properly.
The F3 menu does properly identify the dimension as I switch back and forth.
Is this a limitation of DH or a bug? Enabling multiverse dimension matching causes a lot of other issues and generally doesn't work: getting the similarity ratio just high enough that it won't carry chunks over from one dimensions to the next causes a bunch of extra LOD databases to be created, and LOD building to be reset very often.

ig you can increase CPU load settings for faster lod gen

Chunks not loading with shaders
I have Oculus and Embeddium installed (given that it is oculus 1.6.15a since the latest version wont work with forge)

how do i get this area to update properly
ive walked over this area several times, messed with many settings, it still didn't update properly
its on Hypixel, the multiplayer server
no error messages
my mods are all compatible last time i checked...

Which download for the most actual version?
I noticed the Curseforge version is quite old it even dates back to last year and I'm wondering if there are any betas, actual builds or smth to download as many things have changed in the last couple of weeks. The new iris update is out and I remember some kind of dh version was published on the reforged channel maybe I'm wrong about that.
So whats the best version to install just choose the latter one?

Weird Tree Culling and Other issues
So, weird little issue. One, it doesn't seem to be rendering that far, although that might just be a time issue. Second, there seems to be areas where trees just... stop rendering? not quite sure what's going on there. And three, there are holes that i'm not quite sure how to fix. Already tried FAQ suggestions for fixes. no luck.

Distant Horizons crashes on Fedora 40 (Cinnamon) with Sodium and its add-ons (Indium and Nvidium.)
I recently installed Fedora 40 (Cinnamon) as a second operating system or dual-booting. Distant Horizons, for some reason, as it works on Windows 10 on the same computer, doesn't work and crashes before getting to the title screen when I enable Sodium, Indium, and Nvidium. It does work when I disable those three mods and get into a world, and vice versa when I disable Distant Horizons. I don't know if it's a known incompatibility or if I need to install a driver, library, or package. I included a crash log and mod list. I'm unsure what the correct terminal command is to get all the listed packages, as I'm still new to this Linux thing. Any answers or suggestions are appreciated.

Is there some wierd memory leak with direct buffers?
My mod list:

So I'm using distant horizon version 2.0.3 with iris 1.7 and all the other mods listed there. I'm also using generation zgc. I was out exploring (distant horizon distance 128) and just looking at my f3 screen when I noticed at one point the that direct buffers was expanding at a quite large rate. It got to the point that it was over 9 gig, after wich my computer locked up and after like a minute or two it suddenly started working. At wich point I had died. After respawning I checked the direct buffer usage again adn it was like under 30mb. Is this expected behavior for know? Also I'm on singleplayer....
Solution:
You've allocate 14 gigs to minecraft, thats way too much
