How do I Install the 1.20.4 version?

I've found the gitlab for it but am having trouble finding a jar file

mod support on feather servers

so i want to use a server i made with the feather client, and using fabric i tried to put the mod in the folder called "mod" but it's giving me error messages, is it simply impossible to have the mod on a server hosted by feather or is there a way? alternatively which are some other free servers hosts that allow support for the mod ?

possible LOD chunk load bottleneck

first of all im sorry if something i say sounds weird or nonesense but english is not my first language. i have downloaded DH2 2 days ago and through a long and painful series of troubleshooting and trying to fix it i find myself somehow not able to make the chunks load if i dont force it by using the LOD render distance radius setting to a crazy number like 2000. i saw online a dozen of settings and toubleshooting videos that people can make it work with a much lower number with really great result and i just cant get what i can fix to make it work. i'll attach screenshots of my current settings and the mod list i have right now. so when im in a situation of loading into a world the game just takes an insane amount of time loading the chunks, a time i belive excessive for the pc build i have, if you have any tips on what i could do or change to make it faster it would really be great....

LOD chunks unloading

Some of my LOD chunks unload even though it should be within the set render distance. Going near them loads the chunks again but the opposite also happens for those chunks consistently (farther chunks remain rendered). Anyone know how to fix this?

Strange chunks

I'm not sure if this has been address already or not, but these are already visited chunks as I depart them, these towers follow me around as I move forward, relative to the render distance. What am I missing?

Forge+Oculus+DH 2: Using DH adapted shaders stops LOD from rendering and renders a weird fog

Hi! As mentioned above, I'm using Forge+Oculus+DH 2 on 1.19.2, without shaders, DH just works fine, but with shaders, that have specifically been optimized for DH (bliss shader for example), the LODs dont seem to render, and some weird closeby fog appears. Any Idea why that happens?...

Performance drops after spending time in game

Starting up my world I get great performance even as all the chunks are being rendered but after like 30 minutes or so performance steadily starts declining to noticeable levels. I can start at around 100fps and it slowly works down to where at some instances I’m below 30 even if I cap my fps to 60 even with the extra computing power it still drops after everything is rendered. I am running an i5-11400f with a 3060ti on 32gbs of ram (I’ve tried allocating 8-10 gigs) I am running at 1440 but that...

Pregenerated LODs not showing any more

Yesterday I was playing on my server (multi world in bungeecord) and had pre-generated a huge amount of LODs. It was working great, and I got some great screenshots. I spent a bit of time working on another world in the server - actually a separate server connected through bungee, and I came back to Survival to find the LODs didn't appear, even after about 20 minutes of waiting. What has happened? The db seems to be there - it's 7 gig, but it's not showing up, even if I explore around and try to re-generate it, it's like I'v never generated it before....

Can CPU temps cause PID errors with this mod?

My 14900k reached up to 99 celcius, could this be the cause of PID errors?

Visual Glitch is this normal or is it just me that has this problem?

Im playing on 1.20.1, Dh version 2.0.2 dev version, and iris 1.7.0. Mod list in pics. Most of these mods are just either mob addons/mob varients and other addons that I dont think should effect Dh.

Distant Horizons Settings button not showing?

The settings to change distant horizons or enable it isnt showing for me, why is this?
Solution:
Just delete the CONFIG file | .minecraft\config\DistantHorizons.toml

Opening config file in-game crashes the client

Long Distance chunks not rendering with compatible shader (BLISS, DH 2.0)

Hello! I recently saw the new support for Distant Horizons and how shaders were slowly being able to be implemented, however, upon trying out one of the compatible shaders (the latest BLISS shader build from GITHUB) it appears that I am having some difficulty in getting the outer chunks related to DH to load. Without shaders, DH renders alright for the most part, the chunks end up showing up but the terrain generations a touch strange and leaves large-black (and blocky) sort of "void" textures in the map towards the horizons. I am sending more screenshots and a modlist as well, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! (This is a singleplayer world, no error messages displayed or crashes.)...

you need iris, oculus is not a suitable replacement
