LODs aren't saved after rejoining a server.
DH works perfectly fine however after I left and rejoined the server again, I noticed all my saved LODs (the chunks I loaded) are not seen anymore and I had to get them loaded again... Which setting should I tweak to solve this?
I need FPS friendly shader
I wnat FPS friendly and DH compatible shaders and which settings should I do with for example Bliss I get only 20fps and this not consistant.
Solution:
Bloop or makeup ultrafast
still getting access violation crashes.
system: windows 10
graphics card: amd
modloader: fabric
DH version: 2.3.2 b
...
Even though I have DH turned on, fog appears in the distance.
When I use Fabric 1.20.1 and configure the MODs shown in the image, fog appears as shown in the title. Please let me know if this is a setting issue or a characteristic of the MOD that is causing the problem.

DH replacing chunk with another chunk
I'm sorry, i don't know whats happening, i just installed DH 1.21.6 nightlybuilds fabric from #links-n-downloads on my server and client. Suddenly, chunk start splitting even the stuctures doesn't generated properly (doesn't match with the world seed). The picture is the chunk from an iron farm i build, but it just spawned randomly (i don't visit the iron farm yet since DH is installed, but it rendered in LOD first, then it apearing as a chunk not where it should be).

Distant Horizons doesn't load structures from When Dungeon Arises
I've seen videos about this mod, and they say that the "When Dungeons Arise" structures do load by default with DH, but for some reason, in my single-player world, it doesn't load any structures until I approach a chunk (where there is a When Dungeons Arises structure), and the structure loads normally. DH saves that structure in my world once I load it with the real chunks when I approach, but before I approach, there's nothing, as if the LODs don't pre-generate those structures.
Does anyone know what option to activate so that the When Dungeons Arises structures load the LODs before I approach?
I hope I've explained myself well, since I don't speak English, I speak Spanish, and my English is somewhat weak... Thanks, and I hope you find some help....
vanilla fog still showing?
been a while since i played and getting this, dunno if theres a known mod conflict or if i just did something wrong
Solution:
If you have mods that modifies vertical render distance, i.e. Embeddium, disable it in their settings.

Removedev text
How do I remove the text bar near my hotbar? I was too impatient forr 1.21.6 to be released lol
Solution:
Somewhere in the advanced setting, I forgot which, there's an option to change or disable the progress text.

Weird persistent sky pillars within generated chunks
I am on a 1.21.1 server with DH 2.3.2-b and I keep getting these persistent sky pillars appearing in my LODs that won't go away. I've tried replacing the LOD data file for the server with an older copy that did not have the issues and the moment I join the server again the pillars come back again. There doesn't seem to be any way to make them go away.

Game is crashing on boot
Hi there! I've recently installed DH, although everytime i try to launch my game i get this error message: (photo 1)
I've tried every step in the faq, although the only way i can launch minecraft is by removing DH, im launching it with sodium 0.6.13+mc1.21.1, and with the fabric loader. I have no problem launching sodium on its own, although it seems it can't when i also try and use DH.
My mods are the following: (photo 2)...
Solution:
Or update Distant Horizons to 2.2.1-a if possible.

Having dh on my local server causing server to lag
Hello! So right now im running mc 1.20.1 forge with DistantHorizons-forge-2.3.1-b-dev-1.20.1 version.
While distant generation on server side is enabled it causing my server to lag (ticks stop and then speed up) because of latency i guess. Server is constantly throwing these messages: Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 2881ms or 57 ticks behind
Fix is to disable distant generation on server side. At the same time DH works as intended chunks are generated and we (players) get them without any problem. Right now i'm not posting logs because im not sure which logs will help.
Also i wanna notice something very important. Lately i was using old nightlybuild DistantHorizons-forge-2.1.3-a-dev-1.20.1 that was working flawlessly on my server without any stutters. Should i try to use this version on serverside again? Any steps you would recommend me to proceed?...
Limited LoD Chunk Range
Ran into an interesting bug (or perhaps it's user error) with a few people that downloaded my pre-gen'ed LODs. When changing the chunk render distance, it seems to only be displaying a small percentage of the desired chunks (eg. I choose 500 chunks, I might get 40 or 50). I also had the issue but resolved it by seemingly changing it enough and enabling rendering on/off and restarting. I can't seem to get the same fix to work for others.
Curious to hear if anyone else ran into this?

sun going through walls
i'm using shrimple shader and it goes through walls, i've seen someone else use shrimple so im not sure what im doing wrong

A handful of clients joining DH server having horrible lag and DH error spam in their ingame chat
As the title says. Im running a modpack where the server and the clients both have Distant Horizons and it mostly works, very few issues. But a handful of clients which have nothing in common with one another join, get one bar in the "Tab" view, and the game looks like the server is choking (gravel not falling, blocks not breaking etc.) but its entirely localized to their clients.
The version running on the server is 2.3.2-b and it's Forge.

Gap in chunks
Hey - using the mod on ATM 10, I have preloaded chunks and also am running on a server.
For the most part it is working well but I am noticing gaps near the horizon with the chunks? What is causing this?...
Mirages/Incorrect distant terrain
Warning, this is a dumb help post. I don't really have much idea what I'm doing; bear with me.
I want to use Distant Horizons on a custom map created in WorldPainter. In the software, I did terrain height and biomes, but nothing else, leaving all other aspects of generation to Minecraft.
I've used Chunk-Pregenerator/Chunky mods to preload the world, but both have the same effect shown. Terrain in "LOD/Distant"(idk the term) distance, where it's handled by DH, doesn't match the actual world; it renders what the world would look like if wasn't custom, instead using the seed. Attached image shows a sort of 'mirage', where a floating island biome that doesn't exist fades in and out of existence.
Occuring in Singleplayer worlds, Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.0, attached is a modlist and latest log....

far distant texture
My guess is that far distant textures are being merged together, but they stay that way even when I get closer. After a while they eventually load correctly, but I have to wait a long time. Is there a way to make the surrounding area load faster?

DH Pregeneration Stops
As I’m pregenerating chunks in the server console commands, it just stops all of a sudden in the middle. CPU load and memory calms down. I try to restart the server and start pregen again but nothing’s happening. I have 3 threads for the server.

distant horizons not working with iris 1.7.x
i have tried several versions of iris, sodium, and indium. nothing works. does DH and Iris work on 1.20.1?
