OpenGL error debug message spam and 100% cpu usage with 2.3 DH

This gets spammed:

And CPU usage is 100%, while GPU is normal. Shaders also don't work, but that's a different issue....

Macos performance, 1000% CPU usage. Not sure if LOD loading complete.

After playing around for a good bit, I am at 1000% CPU usage, which means 10 of my 12 cores are at 100%. I can't tell if the LODs are finished loading. The progress bars never display. How can I tell what is causing the very high CPU usage?

Weird transparent DH chunks

Is there something in the settings that I should fiddle with? It does fix itself over time but it looks pretty jarring to see when exploring new chunks

Chunks not syncing with client

Hello, I pregenerated a radius of 256 chunks overnight on the server my friends and I use but this morning when connecting, I'm still only seeing chunks I already visited before we updated. I have DH 2.3 installed on both client and server. The sync on load is enabled and every setting is set by default

Freeze on second time in world, mac m4 pro

Solution:
Claude via Cursor IDE said that the version check method being used is not server side safe in forge 1.18.2
"I can see the issue now. The getMinecraftVersion() method is trying to use Minecraft.getInstance() which is a client-only method. For versions before 1.19.2, it's using the client-side method to get the version, while for 1.19.2 and later it's using the server-safe SharedConstants class."
I didn't ask it why it worked fine without other mods, although I did realize that maybe it was the modloader version doing it ...

Is there a way to tell when chucks are done loading?

The FAQ recommends to set your set your CPU load to "I paid for the whole CPU" and wait for the chunks to load. But how do you know when they are done?
Solution:
It should tell you above your hotbar if you updated to 2.3

so I was getting that error but I bruteforced and tried again and again with lower settings now that it works in singleplayer. BUT in a server I get this broken visuals. does anyone know the source of the issue? multiplayer distant ckunk problem...

Fake LOD chunks in the server. (they get replaced with actual chunks when I get close)

What causes this, and how do I fix it? (I genuinely tried to search if someone else experienced this, but found nothing.)...

Serverside Installation version 2.3 not generating new chunks

I've installed version 2.3 for minecraft 1.21.3 on both serveride and client, ensured both sides have ensured enable distant generation is on for both. I am playing on fabric and am playing with the mods PlayerRoles and image2map serverside, with terralith running as a plugin. Clientside I have attatched a screenshot, though I dont see any of these mods conflicting. What is strange is that the server is reporting that LODs are being loaded (attatched - it is an error which occured cause I was flying around too fast in spectator mode, however it does suggest the mod is properly loaded serverside), however they are not being rendered on my screen - only the ones that I have loaded myself are rendering (and even then, not all of them)....

Bugged background in GUI?

When I am in any GUI, Inventory, Escape Menu etc the world in the background is completely bugged, any way of fixing this. Only happens with shaders. Using DH compatible ones aswell.

Hello, I just installed Distant Horizons Beta 2.3 on my fabric server and also placed it in my .minecraft mods folder. The mod works great in single player, but does not work on once I join the server. Am I missing something? Thanks!

how do i not have gaps in my render?

these are chunks i've already loaded. but when i walk away and come back it doesn't render them. im new to this, so if this is an easy issue great, sorry for wasting time.

Locked chest issue
