Rendering Valkyrien Skies and Clockwork creations with DH

Is there a way to render them outside the vanilla render distance with DH. I have tried the entity LOD mod but that doesn't work

New world generation getting stuck.

So started building a modlist and used Conquest Reforged 1.20.1 for a base on Fabric. Ran into an issue where my world generation would get stuck on "Preparing start region for dimension minecraft:overworld", I narrowed it down to distant horizons. Even if I launch with DH and then disable it before generating a world this still occurs. I was able to get it to work before adding in a bunch of structures and terralith, but with my understanding I don't see how DH even affects initial world generation even though the environment is more complex. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into a similiar issue? Maybe it's an issue that comes with Conquest since it uses some outdated mods so I might try downgrading DH, currently running 2.3.0. Still troubleshooting so ask questions if they would help. Thanks....

100 ºC when playing with DH

i used distant horizons for a long time months/a year ago, even using intensive chunk generation and everything was ok, but now for some reason and using the same pc build, when i use the latest version of distant horizons my CPU gets to 100 ºC. When i put DH out of the modpack, the average temp is 65-75. I used the default config. I have an Intel Core I7 11700kf and the liquid refrigeration AIO Forgeon Azoth 240...

Chunks not saving/updating in multiplayer

I am using DH on a multiplayer server that doesnt have the plugin. I know the chunks wont update until I go to them but they arent updating LOD at all. Chunks I previously travel to become very very poor quality is this normal? I thought it would save the chunks I have been to and update them once I got closer but instead it seems like after I get so far the LOD just gets stuck at a low level forever if that makes sense.

Legacy 4J Water.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue with the Distant Horizons mod, and Legacy 4J, mod. Without the Legacy 4J mod. My water looks fine. But with it, it has some issues.

console spam with server side support

Previous data not used and shader bugs

Hi, so I've just seen the version for 1.21.4 is on Modrinth and I've tried it, but for some reason the data doesn't seem to load. I get pretty much normal render distance. Also, I logged into the world with shaders on and when I turned them off the things in the distance appeared only as black. (I've also been having issues with photon where the sky would be replaced by phantom images of objects around me, I didn't grab a screenshot but it was very weird and made the shaders unusable, so I moved to Solas instead) ...

Stuck on "Saving world"

how do i fix this

The terrain looks transparent. If I go closer to generate the chunks and then return to my original position, it displays properly. But when I go somewhere else, the same problem appears again. render chunk - 12, lod-256 modpack - minecolonie+ shader - complementry unbound...

java.lang.NullPointerException error

This happens semi randomly, usually when I teleport to a new area. I can re-enable it just by disabling and enabling the rendering again but I have no idea what the root cause is. Happens with and without shaders

Server tick-lag skyrockets once a player joins with Distant Horizons installed.

Distant Horizons is installed on the server. Once a player with Distant Horizons joins, the server immediately begins to lag and stutter. My best guess is that this is from the server trying to send the player LODs. I have tried multiple different combinations of mods on the server, and this only happens when Distant Horizons is installed and a player joins with it installed as well. The Distant Horizons config has not been touched and is default on the server, as well as on the client. Some quick info: - MC version [1.20.1] - Distant Horizons version [1.20.1 Beta 2.3.0 forge/fabric]...

DH Plugin 0.8.1 - Identify worldId in data.sqlite

I need help because I need to delete the LODs from the overworld, but I don't know how to identify the worldId in the database.
Solution:
You'll have to figure out what world id the end has. If you go to .minecraft/distant_horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/ you might figure it out

Compatibility with Create: Above and Beyond 1.3 for MC 1.16.5

Hi! Has anybody had luck with the latest version of DH with CA&B? I can't get the server to start when I add the mod, but the latest DH says that it now works on servers so you can see distant chunks without visiting there. Currently working: ATLauncher/manual setup Server - Minecraft 1.16.5, forge-1.16.5-36.2.34.jar, DistantHorizons N/A Client - Minecraft 1.16.5, forge-1.16.5-36.2.20-client.jar, DistantHorizons-2.1.2-a-1.16.5-forge-fabric.jar ...
Solution:
If you have this issue, try disabling auto updates on the server. I found my config file in my server folder at \config\DistantHorizons.toml. Find the line with "enableAutoUpdater = true" and set it to false.
