Can't upload via web on selfhosted ente

Hi, I'm having some issues when using my own custom domain with a self-hosted ente instance. I've set up custom domains for each component (minio, api and web) and updated the corresponding files. Login and account creation works fine, I can see the minio instance is working ok, it creates the buckets and there's even some activity on those buckets....

Public sharing setup

Hey. I can't seem to figure out how to setup public link sharing. I have looked into the documentation (https://help.ente.io/self-hosting/faq/sharing) but im still confused. Now when i share the public link it correctly generates with "albums.my-domain.com" but shows login screen just like "foto.my-domain.com". Here im sending part of my compose.yaml file and museum.yaml file (ente runs behind nginx reverse proxy so i added where it is rerouted). How do i set it up correctly? If someone could send an example it would be much appreciated!...

Trying again to make iOS backgroud sync work properly

Hi, I currently have ente 1.1.0 installed on my nas, and I am unable to get background sync to work properly, despite having the firebase credentials where they should be. My logs look like logs1.txt file and my fcm-service-account.json looks like the sample i provided

photo app not loading

hey guys! I know it’s a long shot but I have setup the Ente server (self hosting) and I am trying to use NordVPN’s Mesh to connect to my server remotely. The browser version works perfectly, the app lets me log in but then it gets stuck, i cannot see the storage or upload. I have attached the image as well. Does anyone know anything about this topic? Is it necessary to enable something in self hosted instances for the 10 GB upload to be available now after the update of the mobile apps? Or does the latest tag of the server container from 20 days ago already support it using the latest clients?

MacOs app does not sync with Museum server

Hey there. I have issues with MacOs app Version 4.4.0 (440). It seems unable to contact museum server self-hosted, while other clients such as iPhones can. So it does not sync with latest 2FA configured via QR code through iPhone app. The server works without issues. Timezones aligned everywhere. Codes are the same both in the iOS and MacOs. I tried to logging out the account, but I receive the following error: "It looks like something went wrong. Please retry after some time. If the error persists, please contact our support team." I tried to reinstall the app, but I'm not able to find plist or other files in my Library folder to clean up everything, so after deleting and restarting the app, the issue persist. ...

I can't upload files.

Hi! I managed to start ente server on a wm with proxmox using ubuntu server os. I can reach the web page on port 3000 and i was able to log in on pc, and i was able to connect with my phone as well through the app, but when i tired to upload my images its got stuck and no file uploaded......

Admin/management page aside from cli

Is there a GUI based, perhaps in the web or in the apps to manage my ente instance, such as viewing registered users and sending invites to create an account (because registration will be disabled), and manage storage quotas. When reading the docs, the CLI can do this, but is there a GUI version?...

Ente Photos on Portainer

I'm having some weird problems on Portainer after recently migrating from doing everything in the Docker CLI. First I couldn't figure out where some of my config files were (like museum.yaml) so I just set up new volumes and manually created the files. But now I keep getting CORS errors and my socat container won't consistently start unless I re-pull and redeploy the whole stack each time (and even if I do that, I still get CORS errors). I've already run the alias set and admin config set commands in the minio shell and they executed successfully. What am I doing wrong? Did I miss a step or something?...

"Backup status" doesn't reflect reality?

If I go to the "backup status" display, I see hundreds of photos go by, but they're not being uploaded. Doesn't change photo count, "X/Y memories preserved" doesn't change, no new photos visible on webapp. The count will stay the same for hours.

Accounting for accidental deletion or sabotages

Hey all, just wanted to check in regarding accidental deletion or sabotage. If you're keeping the files in a bucket, you could of course "keep all versions", but the database entry is removed for these images. How would you functionally recover your photo's in this case? Excluding backups (say it's aged out and you don't realise for years). Is there an offline decrypt script so you can take the photo object + encryption keys an end up with a photo output?...
