to what extent are the generic vectors used? big fan of using system numerics in the gl calls though, was scared when i saw the Vector2D in the window options
yeah i was mostly worried about the gl calls specifically but i saw those use system numerics types, was pretty happy, so annoying converting between different math libs for that stuff
if i remember correctly, perksey (one of the founders of Silk) is actually from OpenTK, so we had a good starting point for fixing some of the pain points of it
What do I need to do if I'd want to develop mobile apps with Silk.NET and native functionality, like accessing the gallery. Mainly targeting Android, maybe iOS. Do I base the project off of Xamarin or MAUI? Just trying to figure out the first steps here
That's good to hear! Reason why I'm asking these questions: For my internship at -redacted- I've been tasked to find/setup a decent basis to develop mobile games on, preferably something C# based. Unity is the clear goto, but it's recent actions have been... concerning. Godot is also one of the contenders, as is Silk.NET, since it has some really great things going for it.
