Uploading youtube portfolio to tiktok
Hi folks. I am trying to upload all of my youtube shorts to tiktok. has anyone done anything similar? I have roughly 200 videos to upload and am unsure about titling, upload frequency, and pretty much everything else related to tiktok

well if you don't make any noticeable changes and simply reupload the videos on to tiktok they won't push out your videos as much as they want original-ish content and I'd recommend posting 1-3 vids a day when starting out
for titling which I'm guessing you mean the caption id recommend asking a question related to the video to help boost engagement (comments) and to use 3-6 hashtags related to the video

Does tikTok have some way of knowing its reused? I still have all of the original videos, so there isnt a watermark or anything. And the videos where made specifically for youtube shorts, so the aspect ratio and everything is correct. I was planning on reuploading all of them as they are
The problem is I typically make 4-5 videos a day for my youtube shorts. So anything less than 5 videos a day and ill never get through the 200 video catalogue that still has to be posted
yes, they have an algorithm that cross checks most of the major platforms Youtube shorts is also very similar where they're looking for original content only
all id recommend is posting the videos about an hour apart from each other

does consistency have a major effect on the algorithm on both, i currently have a bigger tik tok than youtube, do you recommend buying the promotions on tik tok for the extra engagement ?
no do not buy the promotions on tiktok it wont help you in the long run
That makes sense, when I started out I was getting about 500 views a vid and they had no hashtags and was just prototype content, then I experimented with the payed promo and since then we only get around 250 on a good video, should I restart on a fresh account with this new knowledge of better content hashtags and no paid promos or should I carry on and keep consistent and grow that way ?
Carry on with your current account and I'd recommend not paying for any more promotions
