Is it a viable strategy to make one profile each for helicopters, fly-by-wire & warbirds/ga then make copy & tweak from there? or just easier to make a seperate one for each aircraft as you come across it?

Yeah, that's the idea. You can use the Export/Import functionality

Yeah so these adjust the physical to logical range of motion. Once the motor(raw_x/raw_y) reaches min/max value windows will see max deflection

Ah don't worry I worked out the F5, I'd picked the ffb option in special but linear seems more accurate

oh yeah that's the web version build number I was looking at oops. That's just another goal mate, coming shipped with the latest firmware & my PC picked up the stick & told me to go to the web page & connect etc. nice work Walmis!

So max position is the amount of travel the endstop will engage at, and max power is the amount of power the motors will resist at, you can try 50% power and 50% Max Pos. It should reduce the travel by 5o%

Rescale axes - this will remap axes so that when you reach the endstop, the game/OS will see full travel

those fields are X positive, X negative, Y positive, Y negative. So you can change the endstops based on direction (or quadrant of movement). So for example you can limit pitch down to 50% and have a full pitch-up range.

In the Settings those sliders adjust the global gains for that effect class, and in the effects you create an "instance" of that effect, similar how DirectX creates effects in DCS for example.

So yeah, the game can create those effects and Rhino can create them internally too, the sliders in Settings adjust the global "volume" of those effects.
