If you spend hundreds of dollars on high end products, βfix it yourselfβ should never be the reply you get from them when theyβve shipped you a broken product
while in principle i don't disagree, in practice, a lot of these companies that make high end artisanal stuff, are small, and then if you factor having to ship it back to them to fix, it's never going to be as seamless or fast as a major/global company, so having the ability to fix it yourself does make a big difference
Yeah, in my case, in EU it's no problem to get Rhino shipped back and forth to fix something, however for US, AUS for example it's best to supply the spare parts and support.
There is no way either of us are gonna wanna ship something, the more times a product travels, there are factors that could either damage or even lose the item
Itβs definitely mass production weβre talking about though. Shipping something with broken cables already from the factory is poor quality control, telling customers to fix products that are broken on delivery just isnβt on
Hey @kruger1775, So the last Shipped RHINO is #0049 on 2023-02-15 Average waiting time from preorder to shipped is 129 days, median is 119 days, max is 209 days 47 Rhinos are shipped in total
I agree. I think if there was a small general text about Walmis' history developing the Rhino and how he came about to also offer the FFB motor kits together with maybe a little timeline and FFB history, that would very well clear up any confusion one could have with the FAQ and also be a nice addition overall. The propeler DCS FFB thread does contain most of it, but with about 20 pages, it is a slightly lengthy read. Personally, I would really enjoy that small text.
Yeah m8 that's what I've used for MSFS2020 it's decent, though no support for force trim in heli's Walmis' VPforce software will do force trim for you. I asked Walmis about a Telemetry App like the DCS one for MSFS & he said it was definitely possible & I think something he may do in the future but don't quote me on that part.
Cool thanks for confirming. Yeah, as I have a motion rig, it's always bothered me that all this telemetry info was available, but not being used for FFB. I have some Brunner units and they just use their own software to do what XPForce does. In fact I would guess XPForce is a bit of a knock off of the Brunner software.
As Andy said there are different FFB effects per module it denpends on the Module maker & what they added, the F-14 is pretty much top shelf FFB effects from what I hear. VPforce has a Telemetry App for DCS that will give FFB effects to all the aircraft & can be tweaked also per plane, this doesn't overwrite any of the native effects but will just add the missing effects
