I currently have a 24V, 10A Power Supply for the 57BLF03 motors. Do you think it would make sense to upgrade to something like 20A? Or is there some sort of Limit on how much the Motors can take?

DA version with less angle could use a bigger wheel to get more power?
APossibly yes, but it would also probably need to be bigger, because the current wheels are pretty much as big as you can fit

Dyes that's two independent thing, but i was thinking of it to compensate the extension that would be use with a short angle verison
MPlanes with long shafts don’t use high displacement irl, usually more like +-15 to 17deg.. long throws are not needed with long levers plus they interfere with cockpit ergonomics as you are discovering
M24v is marginal for the drive, though your psu is plenty powerful
J@walmis Is it possible to limit throw length thru the software? Or could it be added? The Hornet only has 2.5 inches of forward throw and 5" to the rear on an arm of 18.58" to the reference point on the grip.
Sthis might have been asked already, but to the rhino and rhino kit owners, do you see much of a benefit using an extension, or without on this base?
PI can only answer for using an extension. The RHINO has a huge throw on it even without the extension, depending on how you sit in relation to the base the forward throw can be almost too much with the extension (200mm Curved VKB). Software Endstops are great for this though, but a series of physical plates with the different end stops would be even better for that definite clunk when hitting axis end, even just one plate that reduces the forward throw a bit would be good. Tbh I'd rather have the extra throw to play with & use end stops, Walmis is still working on implementing the software end stops even better. Having said all this I do believe the RHINO has enough throw on it you don't have to have an extension if you need to mount it higher & one won't fit, I mean compared to a normal joystick without extension the RHINO's throw is huge & comparing the RHINO with an extension to a VKB/style base with one, it's still a fair bit bigger.
CYou can limit the throw and it will auto adjust the axis. Even a non linear throw. I have mine set to 50% less forward and about 20% less side to side throw. Walmis is a very talented man!
RMatching the throw from the Rhino with the throw from the in game aircraft so its 1:1 and realistic. I only fly helicopters, so this will be important, especially concerning trim.

Pgo into the effects tab, look for the End Stops box, you can change the settings there & tick the box that says 'Rescale Axis'
Pthe % in there you change is the % of total throw you want, so 10% is only going to give you 10% of total travel distance, 50% gives you half travel etc.
Pyou can set it so the + & - of the axis are asymmetric
R@stonedkakapo I went from VKB with 20cm extension, to Rhino without. Ballpark similar and never felt need to add extension with Rhino (flying a mix of helo's and planes from all gen's)
MI added the virpil extension
MIt just felt weird without one
MAnd I just limited the axis
Vreading that from a second person makes me very happy on not getting an extension
AThe Rhino basically comes with a built-in extension and the throw is huge so there's less need for extensions
Aif you add a vkb or ww adapter, it becomes even taller
JThe problem with an additional extension will also be that the force you feel at the stick will be smaller because you have a bigger lever with which you pull on the gimbal.

Pno need to regret it m8, I use the 200mm extension & I still feel enough force from it & still haven't put the master gain up past 90%. I can get the stick feeling really stiff for flying warbirds, of course without the extra leverage you'll feel a bit more, but I don't think it's enough of a difference to worry about m8
RI’ll be using a 35cm curbed extension for a helo sim pit. I know I’ll have plenty of throw. Only issue I see is wearing out belt and motors earlier.
JWhy would that wear out the belt and motor faster?
Phey m8, from what I understand the motors have no contacting parts & therefore should be extremely resistant to wear. Also with the size of the RHINO itself & the fact it's already pretty much got a small extension, maybe only like 50mm or so I'd be surprised if you needed a 35cm extension or that it could even be too high for your seat. Obviously you know more about your set up than me though 
Pmaybe thinking that having the extra leverage might give more potential for pulling too hard against the ffb
JWell, the force and therefore the wear on the belt is limited by the resistance the motor can put up, and that is limited by the Nm it can produce. That force does not change with a bigger extension.
Pright, well there you go nothing to worry about with wearing the motors any extra
Awell you might get away with lower settings and thus less stress if you had less leverage

RThe 35cm will be needed. Below the virpil base is a few inches and I’ll need to floor mount it. I may need to cut off an inch or less. Just need the rhino here to test fit. 
RYes aggressive movements are made when flying helicopters noe and during combat. So I don’t want to over stress the motors and belts etc when pushing against trim or ffb.
LThanks this was something I had not thought of. I pondered this all day; the curved shaft looks so cool, I need all the accuracy I can get if I'm ever going to succeed in aerial refueling and also my chair is an Ikea so I do need a bend. Buttkicker broke a metal part in the chair on Friday - my second chair destroyed by BK - so I could get a different one which I could modify. But then I would also have to redesign my K-51 collective mounting

Deflections are measured in grip displacement, not angular displacement and it has half the forward travel as back. You can set the digital endstops wherever you like so you can properly tailor the throw to any setup.
High deflection angles also get challenging with grip angle, at the extents the ergonomy of button reaches is different than neutral. This is all stuff rl designers have to wrestle with.. the panel needs to be within reach when strapped in so controls geometry is chosen accordingly. This is why many planes have a notch cutout on the front of the seat, offset shafts etc.
