Smy msffb 2 stick does the same effects and the rhino can also do it. the stick will droop forward when the prop isn't pushing too much air through the elevator but once you push the throttle forward the stick will go to center. Also the weird thing you might be noticing with the stick not centering where its supposed to is just a bug, you can trim back to center to fix it.
TI don’t have anything set up yet so I can’t check for myself, but Is it possible for one of the two auxiliary potentiometer spots on the board be configured to an axis in the software?

TAwesome! I’m working on a DIY grip and figured I could add a pot if that was the case using a 6 pin DIN cable. 5 pins used for the shift register and the 6th pin used for pot signal.
WIf your DIY grip has an arduino inside, you can transfer analog axis via the shift-register data also

TI’ve never done anything with SPI before, do I need to worry about breaking or frying anything on the VPForce board if I give it the wrong SPI signals? (Assuming V+ and GND are properly connected)

G@smitty#5756 hey, I was looking at those gear reduction planetaries you listed. Is there a huge benefit to using those? I would imagine it allows the motors to spin alot further for the same amount of stick deflection.
GDoes that allow different force outputs? Or maybe a more "accurate" force?
RI think they up torque motor spins faster producing more total power, gear reduction slows the rotation down so power equation result raises the torque.
SI made a first effort on the manual. Have a look and add what you can. Btw, what are the four empty boxes around the trim setting for?

SStupid question, but how do you get DCS to send input to vp force app? I was looking on the debug loaded effects but nothing shows up. So not receiving any shaking effects or trim. Vpforce app works just fine though on its own (loving the motors)
