Hey @.flatspin, So the last Shipped RHINO is #0062 on 2023-03-08 Average waiting time from preorder to shipped is 143 days, median is 181 days, max is 209 days 59 Rhinos are shipped in total
If anyone needs ideas for what to do with their gunfighter after they get their rhino, I decided to convert mine to a collective with a motorcycle steering damper. Works pretty well. Also can be pushed to the side a little bit if I want my throttle closer when flying planes. Have two throttle mount locations using some steering wheel quick releases.
Though, the monstertech plate isn't really usable with a desk mount - well made, just too high, even with a low desk. Plate itself seems well made, now waiting for monstertech to ship a chair mount
IIRC I saw a suggestion for mounting the rhino from above (but search is failing me now) - that seems like it would make it usable with monstertech desk mounts
You can basically just unbolt the sides and flip. Usually requires intentionally positioning the cable around and through stuff to get it to route properly, but pretty easy overall
I just tried XPforce and MSFS for the first time. I don't seem to be getting any real effects once in the air. I expected the stick to tighten when going fast, and become slack during a stall. But nothing. What am I missing ? I feel lots of wheel vibrations on the ground.
I don't know! I would have thought it could. The Brunner software looks at airspeed and changes tension based on it. I assumed this might do similar. Otherwise what actually DOES it do ?? Currently mine only reacts on the ground. Once airborne there is nothing...
I also notice slight cogging with these motors. I thought they would be completely smooth. Is there anything that can be done? This is with the 86BLF04 btw.
Interestingly, when I had the motors on the bench and just used a shifter on the shaft directly they were silky smooth. Is it due to them now being geared? And the motor having to rotate 1+ times ?
Not quite solo, I have a few freelance employees, otherwise it would be too much stuff to do solo @ummo 15 units were shipped in February, so getting close Though there are some supply bottlenecks that are being worked on.
