I see the power supply is 9.5A and the default psu current was set at 7A in the software, there shouldn't be any issue with setting it at 9A - apart from reaching higher temps faster if I hold it against max force?

I've never even set my master gain to 100% yet, I've left it on 90% & with 100% spring & some other settings warbirds feel really good, never going to need two hands to pull back in a turn but still a lot more stiff & alive feeling than my VKB GF3 base

oh it's alive for sure, I've gone vertical in a Fw190 and entered a a lively and... let's call it - acrobatic - spin. The stick was very much alive for a while, until I regained control and got into a dive to recover.

ahh nice, I don't have any warbirds for DCS yet, IL2 has been my go to for that. Planning on getting at least a warbird for axis & allied, maybe one from each country eventually

I just got the Rhino this evening, so most of the time I was disassembling, fitting and reassembling the simpit. I say simpit, it's not that impressive, but I still had to disassemble the diy seat to fit the damn thing

You can increase it to 9A, but the PSU might drop out on sudden changes in power and motors will report Undervoltage fault. So keep that in mind

It might work fine too though.

The print finished. Unfortunately it's the same! Good news is it's not my ( or yours) design, but something else. Probably the 3D printer. I'll take some measurements and try a calibration print later. But I think it is a small error that is accumulated across the teeth.

Not sure what printer you have, but outside a scant few most need tuning in all axes before they print dimensionally accurate. I had to make pretty big changes before mine would reliably print to dimension. Start by calibrating the extruder axis, then extrusion width, then x/y/z. I used Pronterface to read/write settings to my printer's firmware, following this guide: https://all3dp.com/2/how-to-calibrate-a-3d-printer-simply-explained/

For these prints I used a Flashforge creator 3, mainly as I can print 2 pulleys simultaneously. It's previously shown to be dimensionally accurate, however I admit I don't think I've ever run a calibration cube on it. Being a closed system I can't use Pronterface. But it should be better than most i3 style clones out the box.

Rhino kits? Yes they exist, the wait is short and it's the 2 motors (with the drives already sorted) and the mainboard everything plugs into that plugs into the computer.
