that'll give you a much more detailed error, like which line in the shader is the problem. Lots of documentation out there to get that set up.

its not a problem with the actual shader because the shader is the one ive been using for a while without changing it, its the same vertex shader from the quad tutorial

I'm attempting to build a directx renderer, but after setting everything up for a basic rectangle on screen I'm getting a device removed error with the reason DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR
