Is anyone experiencing crashes on mission load in DCS 2.8 OB? Seems to be a problem with helicopters. Wondering if I have a conflict somewhere in DCS settings.

Next question is: I only get stick shake effects on WW2 aircraft. Are there supposed to be periodic effects like stick shaker or weapon effects in DCS for modern aircraft?

No "DCS-wide" effects. Everything is up to the module author. Some modern jets have some effects others have nothing. I don't expect there to be weapons effects while firing in any modern jet. I hear anything by Heatblur has a good FFB implementation (F-14, soon F-4).

I am trying to figure out ways to have independent spring X and Y forces in DCS per aircraft. From my cursory reading of the code, so far TelemFFB have two man effects, periodic and constant, but no spring effect. Is it possible to get the spring effect implemented in the future?

I tried to change the f5 buffet value to 17 and the stall effect to 20 but i didnt really feel it till 25 degrees

buffeting_start is the AoA value when it starts playing the buffeting and it ramps up to peak value when it reaches stall AoA

Does the telemetry export what angle your stick is at?
I'm wondering if it's possible to put a 100 percent force endstop at like 80 percent of the pitch axis. This would allow the m2000 to have the feel of the elastic limit

Sooo good, I worked out where to get the buffet give a light tenor to match the F5 cockpit shake.

The buffet should commence at different AoAs based on whether or not the flaps are out, but something is better than nothing

I like using .05 buffet value for sticks that have hydraulics with no feedback
