Yep, the vp board can interpret TM, Virpil, BaurBRD and any that use the same protocol natively, WinWing with an adapter but VKB req its own 'black box' you would need to route its wires to.
The toe brakes I could make a separate USB joystick, no biggie, it's the closed source software that I have no idea about with it working for rudder pedals
But the Brunner appears to be direct drive,no gear ratio to amplify the torque, so using extensions means the motors heat up quickly. If I don't fly and adjust trim continually to remove the force on the stick, it'll give out quick and it's a giant box between my thighs
With the Rhino DIY setup, I envision I could put all of it in the floorboard of my cockpit and use a proper length stick extension. Could even have a tandem cockpit where both sticks are driven by the same kit.
