Bjust have to say this after getting to test the rhino for an hour today after getting it last week: no idea how realistic my settings are, but having to use both hands to pull up a plane in msfs in certain situations is just awesome, great immersion
TIs anybody using their Rhino with the Next Level Boeing flightsim cockpit? Interested to see how you mounted it…

WWhat do you want to know ? Mine work great and very strong. But sadly no feedback of course. More likely to get feedback from Walmis' telemetry hacks in the future with a home built pedal than for Brunner to implement something. But they are built well and work well.
TWhat do you mean no FFB? I thought that the Brunner pedals were giving FFB…like for their flight stick.

WIf the information was there it would be different. Hence my comment about Walmis' telemetry hack. But it's only for the joystick at this time. But I'm sure it could incorporate yaw effects in the future.
TWow, …I almost ordered the Brunner pedals and also given their price I would have been mad to see that they are not giving any FFB from the rudder etc…
In that case I will keep my MFG Crosswinds w/ damper and the Buttkicker Advance that I have attached to it…..and hopefully in the future we will have some FFB pedals from Walmis or some hack from his software for the Brunner pedals….

WYes, I was disappointed at the lack of feedback also. They aren't cheap. But I feel it is just a software limitation. I think in the future a DIY solution could easily surpass them.
Tyes maybe send email and emails and emails etc…to Brunner…At this price point they should implement the FFB in their pedals. But having lived and worked in Switzerland I know how fast they implement changes unfortunately. Their business is also more B2B oriented as B2C so that their business customers are more important to them. Anyway I hope they will implement the FFB in their pedals or even better Walmis makes a hack for these.
KI’m really hoping for a clever Walmis motor to crosswinds adapter. I can’t figure it out yet, but that would be a very quick path to an amazing system. Overall I prefer the form factor of a TPR but the crosswinds offers such excellent value mechanically, if a way to retro fit with a motor could be made it would be super slick.

I wonder if it could be done, if load cells on the toe brakes would be just as good as ffb? even a cheap dampener mod would make these feel better.

Poh yeah sorry forgot about that, this is so really very tempting, is it running on it's own as a separate device or is it connected to the a joystick base?
Si use the rhino ffb for pedal position, the original pedal usb i ignore the position and just map the brakes in game.

Syep, the kit card. if you got fancy you could use the 2 pot inputs for the toe brakes but would lose possible gain/other adjustment knobs
PI think the Rhino base has one axis unused on it
Sit shows 6 axes in SPAD.. rx ry rz slider etc but theres no physical interface for them other than the 2 pot inputs
Poh bugger, I was imagining having the rudder pedals plug into the base for their ffb & the old usb to pc for toe brakes
P& how do they run on the PC, just like any other kit or the Rhino? just using the VPforce software?
Si only got the kits, not the full rhino base. the joystick is 1 card+2 motors the pedal is 1 card+1motor. they use the vpforce software.

N@walmis Question on the WinWing adapter - can it be used with other TM/Virpil-style bases to allow use of a WinWing grip? Or does it specifically need to be running your firmware to make sense of it? (Apologies if this has been asked before, I searched briefly but didn't find anything)

KI got my motors hooked up today just to test out. Such an amazingly simple process. I think I'm probably capable of building most of this on my own but @walmis has done such an excellent job from motor tuning, PCB design, and now I can see that the software side is equally as impressive. There is ~ZERO~ reason to try to redo anything he has done, it's just really well executed.
