Wondering if anybody knows a way to deploy a worker and also push the secrets (in bulk) at the same time? Or is the only option deploying and then using secret:bulk to push the secrets? It seems like there should be a way to do this - so I'm probably missing something, but I've had a good read through the docs and couldn't find anything.

On this note, the 'hack' would be to just delete the sourcemap and then retrigger the error to get a stack trace for the bundled JS.

Good tip on deleting the source map. Will try it. I think I found the problem though. I have the script self-invoke itself but in local mode it was self-invoking the deployed worker I had deployed which didn't have that variable replaced.

Gotcha - one tip for define is that if you also use minify then it’ll elide away any if statements that are static, I.E

if (__IS_DEPLOYED_BUILD__)

if (__IS_DEPLOYED_BUILD__)

, although that depends if you already have sourcemaps because otherwise it probably makes debugging horrible.

The environments side of things is a little annoying since you have to define it in every environment, the usual culprit for not defined errors.

I believe with Pages if you do

--kv KV_STORE=d4dd19ae...

--kv KV_STORE=d4dd19ae...

it will use that folder for the storage.

Anyone work with service binding across various environments? I was following the docs here, but ran into some weird behavior. https://developers.cloudflare.com/workers/wrangler/configuration/#service-bindings The docs here mention that we can enter the optional

This should work according to the docs, but it does not and causes an exception despite the publish succeeding. In the dashboard, no worker is bound.

Hey! I'm new using wrangler and so far I love it. I'm having a small issue in dev though and I found some issues mentioning it, but they were all closed as fixed.

I'm doing dev on a sveltekit app using the cloudflare adapter (for pages)
Following the documentation, I have

vite build --watch

vite build --watch

my first terminal and

wrangler pages dev .svelte-kit/cloudflare --live-reload

wrangler pages dev .svelte-kit/cloudflare --live-reload

in my second terminal.

My app rebuilds on save, but wrangler gives me an error about missing files.. but they are there, it almost look like it is too fast and run before vite actually replaces the files or something. My current solution is to restart wrangler manually.

Running wrangler 3.4 in WSL2 (windows 10)

Any ideas ?

Hello, I am currently working on how best to use wrangler to deploy workers to multiple Cloudflare accounts from one repo (monorepo). The wrangler.toml file will not have the same exact configuration as the routes for each of the accounts will not be identical. Does wrangler have this capability, and if not what are some workarounds?

If it's a monorepo have configs in each package, each package should be it's own isolated environment anyway. We don't have the ability to extend from a config, but that would be worth it for support monorepos better

hi everybody, still strugling to update from v2 to v3. In previous iterations of v2, upgrading was straightforward as described in the documentation, however when attempting to update today, via the command: npm install -g wrangler

I get the following response and fail, wondering if anybody has any suggestions or experienced a similar situations and if anybody knows if any requirements changed that are not documented? Thanks.

I've tried locally and globally with no luck, i have tried node 20 and latest version of node 18 with same issues. It looks like its getting tripped up with sqlite? And it looks like it's trying to find xcode dependancies (i dont want to install x-code stuff, and i didn't need to before). The instructions don't say anything about new system dependancies, so I shouldn't need to. And if they are needed it should be documented (i created a bug mention for the documentation but cloudflare team said to make a bug report in SDK repo), and I did yesterday but still no response. I wondering if cloudflare staff has attempted the instructions provided on a mac m1 without x-code installed.
