Hello, I am currently working on how best to use wrangler to deploy workers to multiple Cloudflare accounts from one repo (monorepo). The wrangler.toml file will not have the same exact configuration as the routes for each of the accounts will not be identical. Does wrangler have this capability, and if not what are some workarounds?

If it's a monorepo have configs in each package, each package should be it's own isolated environment anyway. We don't have the ability to extend from a config, but that would be worth it for support monorepos better

hi everybody, still strugling to update from v2 to v3. In previous iterations of v2, upgrading was straightforward as described in the documentation, however when attempting to update today, via the command: npm install -g wrangler

I get the following response and fail, wondering if anybody has any suggestions or experienced a similar situations and if anybody knows if any requirements changed that are not documented? Thanks.

for wrangler devwrangler dev, is the dev.hostdev.host config property (and the rest of request forwarding) only respected in --remote--remote mode? Digging through the wrangler source, that seems to be the case, and wrangler is returning 404 without even trying the upstream server specified in the config

I've tried locally and globally with no luck, i have tried node 20 and latest version of node 18 with same issues. It looks like its getting tripped up with sqlite? And it looks like it's trying to find xcode dependancies (i dont want to install x-code stuff, and i didn't need to before). The instructions don't say anything about new system dependancies, so I shouldn't need to. And if they are needed it should be documented (i created a bug mention for the documentation but cloudflare team said to make a bug report in SDK repo), and I did yesterday but still no response. I wondering if cloudflare staff has attempted the instructions provided on a mac m1 without x-code installed.

is it worth me mentioning to the cloudflare staff that this should be mentioned in their installation documentation or is this irrelevant to that? Either way thanks for the response and I will try it.

Sounds similar to https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/3531, and will eventually not be a requirement anymore. It should definitely be documented though until that time, I agree.

Wrangler Tree Shaking: I'm having trouble with tree shaking my workers when I bundle via wrangler. Does this happen by default or do I have to enable it? When I run npx wrangler deploy --dry-run --outdir dist --minify=truenpx wrangler deploy --dry-run --outdir dist --minify=true or npx wrangler deploy --dry-run --outdir distnpx wrangler deploy --dry-run --outdir dist I can clearly identify dead code that isn't needed for the worker. I've set all my ts modules to "esnext", but still no good. I also don't see any way to adust the esbuild config. Any suggestions?

I don't know if it is the same issue, but wrangler logs my objects with ...... right in the middle. I don't think it is related to nested objects, but could be

For anyone stumbling on this, I made up a janky workaround using nodemon, there must be a better way to dev, but I couldn't find anything that worked.

I run npm run build:watchnpm run build:watch and npm run wranglernpm run wrangler in 2 terminals. The first one build the app and create an empty .trigger file in the working directory. The other one watches for .trigger files (made up extension) and restarts wrangler then delete the .trigger file.
I was playing around with nodemon delays, but this seems more syncrhonous. This is the first time I used nodemon, I know it is janky.

Most errors aren’t related to any code in Wrangler itself, just incompatibility with node-gyp and your workstation (missing xcode on macOS, some Python versions, etc) - what’s your specific error?

I have a question about workers, I need my worker to have two routes mysite.com.br and staging.mysite.com.br, I configured this in my wrangler.toml but when I type wrangler deploy --env staging

it creates a new app/worker and actually I just want a route from the same worker. May you help me please?
