I think the implementation is fine, though I'm personally on the fence about whether or not we actually want the change. I'm truly indifferent.

TLooks like for rawhide I have to install the rawhide repo into
/etc/yum.repos.d then use the --from repo='rawhide' flagTDoes anyone know if rawhide is added to yum.repos.d will other packages installed with

mkdir -p isn't working right in scripts. I'm trying to create /usr/local/include but I'm getting mkdir: cannot create directory '/usr/local': File exists . I thought the p flag was supposed to ignore these errors

I'm having trouble override replacing waybar with waybar-hyprland during an image buildTIt gets through installing all the dependencies but throws up that error right at the end
TRunning the same replace command locally silently fails, it stages the new deploy but the package doesn't get installed

TSo it looks like the remove waybar step is automatically installing waybar-git, which then conflicts with waybar-hyprland

rpm-ostree override remove to not attempt to replace something and just get rid of it

WOk, so I have a small minor PR I'd like to commit, and I'm not familiar with the cleanest way to do that. At work, its make a branch, make the change, make a PR, and wait for acceptance. But I can't even push to a branch off this repo, so how does one commit back?
WI could open an issue? But man, its so minor, I'd like to just tackle it.
KMy guess is something that you are installing has a hard requirement for waybar
KAnd rather than remove it, it's installing an alternative that satisfies the dependency
KWhat you may want to do is try doing the same command on a live system
KSee if it acts any differently and if it removes more packages than just the one you requested
TI think sway is requiring it since my image is based on sericea
TTrying to build with the swap happening in post after sway is removed
