BI was JUST telling a friend this a couple days ago. With VR, FFB, MSFS, and DCS (sorry X-Plane) and the wide range of flight controls available, we are fortunate indeed to have the toyz that we have.

BQuite a long way from the ol serial port joysticks.
And having to choose between not loading joystick drivers, sound drivers or the mouse driver..
Wasnt really that hard, if I had use of my joystick I didnt need the mouse so much.

MThey use very similar firmware, and if the fix is what I think it is, it should also apply to the F-16

WYup, that was my intention as well. However I struggled to get the force I was wanting due to the longer extension. And then, as mentioned, it wasn't great as a heli cyclic. I'm rebuilding the base now, but I'll hopefully have something that is kinda half under the floor. Something of a compromise. Hopefully it doesn't end up looking like a dogs breakfast.
WIf I was building a cockpit dedicated to one aircraft it would be soooo much easier!
WIronically I have found myself flying the F16 in DCS, which of course doesn't even have a central stick 
SMy servos are installed in the Yoke setup at the moment, but remember the stick being more then adequate torque wise, even with the long throw.. I still have my Warthog stick setup installed for modern jets, as they are FBW. When I have the cash will purchase more servos and refit out the stick housing for warbirds, old jets and helis.
DSo I've printed pretty much everything I need except for the large pulleys. What print setting would you recommend for PLA? I was thinking about 4 perimeters and 40% infill so the inertial mass won't be too high. I was also thinking about locally increasing the center part's infill to 100% in order to reduce creep caused by the clamping force of the bolts.
JI personally went 4/40% on my pedals. Works great. Super strong

TIβm guessing that by βopen loopβ he means regular mechanical spring force centering joysticks, as I donβt see any FFB solutions βsaturating the marketβ. As for the rest, I expect he is blowing his own horn. But itβs great to see controller developers going forth with FFB solutions for personal use

BI may be uninformed but so far the only 'publicly' prevailing ffb sticks ive known of are surviving sidewinders and BrΓΌnner.

AI tend to like WW products and it's totally understandable that a company would want to toot their own horn, but they are pretty good at tooting their own horn

BOh, yeah bought the combat and take off panels a while back and an orion2 and f16 throttle grip earlier this summer.

DAnyone know how to re-load the firmware?
PNo the old ones are no longer for sale the new take off panel is out soon or maybe now, a new combat panel is coming, but they messed up & didn't separate the panels into left & right, like last time the wing fold is on the same panel as the parking brake etc. so not able to have things on the correct side, imho this was a mistake & a massive oversight I'm sure they would of seen the feedback about making the panels have the correct things together for a left & right set up, the new takeoff panel does look really good though.
οΏ½I recently removed my WinWing F-16 grip to try some other extensions. mounting location, etc. Putting it back on, the Rhino no longer recognizes the button pushes even connected directly with the WW adapter. It still recognizes the button pushes from my Vipril Alpha grip so I don't think the problem resides in the Rhino. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to test the WW Grip and Adapter without owning a WW Base? I also just updated to v1.0.15 but since the Virpil works, I don't think that is the problem. TIA
WCan you set the grip type to
Debug and check the output. If it's all FFs then it doesn't detect the adapter, otherwise the adapter does not detect the grip.

DAgreed, I think they were just going for βadd all the thingsβ on a single panel, not trying to do replica.. I think only the taurus panel is close (but even then its not exact)

MI just have paid for my rhino! 8 left till mine ships. I will be working with xplane and prepar3d, especially with the T-38C and T-6A for training purposes. I am excited and if anyone is interested let me know!
