VDoes anyone have recommended settings for flying Apache? It's awfully squirrelly for me especially at low speeds when landing or hovering.

BIt's definitely squirrelly. I have a hard time believing the real thing is like that. I have a hella time getting it back on the ground.
๏ฟฝDo you, or anyone else using a Realsimulator grip, know if you can change the orientation of the plug by loosening the 4 screws in the picture below or would any orientation changes have to be done with an extension?

HLast time I tried I don't think it could. Why not flip the connector on the Rhino, instead?
HEven then, the angle of the RS is for a side mount so its got a forward cant that's not as comfortable as it could be center mounted

MNot the F-16. The F/A-18 is tapped for two positions though
MJust remove that damn little pin connector with the two screws and rotate it. You canโt rotate the grip neck or it will cut the wires off the pinky and paddle switch. Trust me, I learned the hard wayโฆ

JI don't have a ffb stick, but one without any kind of spring or real damper effects. I find it to be quite enjoyable that way actually. If you don't want to deal with trimming perhaps just disable all spring forces; if you can't do without, use the force trim release while setting it down or hovering in general.
You should always just do very little adjustments with the stick when landing/hovering, as you otherwise over-correct and perhaps even start some pilot induced oscillations.

JI thought this was basically confirmed broken. Do you have recent experience with Xpforce working with the VPforce base in XP12?

SHi all, Iโm about to finally order and receive my Rhino. Just wondering if i can get any mounting advice? I donโt have a rig and wonโt have space for one until early next year so itll need to be floor mounted or office chair mounted. Iโd like to use a stick extension if possible for more accurate movement. Any ideas?
FIve seen someone use a monstertech mount, and virpil/vkb options would work too i guess, but dont have one so cant say for sure
Fif you use a virpil stick you can add a z extension to get a curve in your extension which might help with fit

JI use the MT chair mount, love it. I have the virpil z extension. Anything longer than that and I think it'd be a bit too much.

Phey m8, you can also just put a thin sheet of plywood on the floor, under your chair & under your rudder pedals/feet that will pin it down then just bolt the Rhino base itself to the plywood.
EHi, I tried to check from FAQ but didn't have an answer. So my question is related to production amount/capacity. As we see from previous shipped Rhino the median waiting time is 218. With the current rate of Rhinos produced during little over month or so my estimated waiting time is little over one year. So the question is, are there any plans put in place to increase the production?

BI mentioned this somewhere (here?) before, but you could cut slots into the board that the Rhino is mounted on that your chair's wheels could fit into, to keep the chair from rolling aroundl
Edit: it occurs to me that you might only need "cups" for two of the chair's front wheels. That would keep the size and weight of the Rhino mounting board down.

. It is meant for a remote working/gaming table and you can switch in about two minutes. It can be pushed around on small wheels in the front under the pedals, there's a handle in the opposite end. I think it's easy to build, if you buy the bottom plate ready-cut at your hw store. Rhino rests on two 280 mm pieces of two-by-four. Please ignore the black front panel, that's a bit more elaborate. And the collective mount if you don't

A chair with legs made of metal tube is required, Ikea is full of them. 4 metal guides keep the tubular legs in its place.
