Do have a damper on my pedals, and I will say the rhino software really let's you dial it in, and it feels more similar to the hydraulic damper, than to the friction dampers that VKB and Virpil use. The software lets you dial in dampening, friction, and inertia to your liking

as far as I can tell the rhino is in a league of its own, the abovementioned adjustments give you the possibility to set it up pretty much to your liking

there's not much opportunity for sticktion to happen when the motors start applying dampening only after they sense movement

Not true , despite having hydraulic controls most (if not all?) hydraulicly powered aircraft will have an artificial feel unit installed (Q-Feel) to mimic aerodynamic forces increasing on the stick as the speed increases.

Nope. Most of them really don't adjust forces on the stick as the aircraft goes faster. Q-Feel is a name of the system installed in the Harrier that does that, but only in the elevator channel. Something similar is also installed in the F-4 elevator control system. But other aircraft, like F-14, F-15, F-18, A-10, F-86 etc. don't do that.

They only have a centering force (cam & springs), that usually moves with the trim.

Bobweights are common and they increase the force on the stick with G-loads. Personally I don't like this effect in the sim, as it can't be properly felt if you don't experience gforces yourself. Others like it, it can be tweaked in TelemFFB to your taste

If specifically looking for an f16 it is the one aircraft this can't simulate better than anything else.
Since its using a force cm sending system with very little movement.
For that, specifically, I'd look into the realsimulator.com force sensing gimbal and grips.
But it's at least a 1k euro for the gimbal and grip.

Winwing also have a slightly less expensive force sensing base as well, but it handles it selves a little bit different than the realsim setup, granted almost half the price.

I own the winwing orion 2 and f16 throttle myself and find that great value for the viper.

Hi, I tried to check from FAQ but didn't have an answer. So my question is related to production amount/capacity. As we see from previous shipped Rhino the median waiting time is 218. With the current rate of Rhinos produced during little over month or so my estimated waiting time is little over one year. So the question is, are there any plans put in place to increase the production?

I got one on my mfg pedals and the same model on winwing collective. I want it to replicate as close to the hydrualic feel these give and my vkb with the rc dampers does so glad if the rhino seems to come close

My guess is that queue is already very long. I doubt that hiring someone would increase the price on its own. More users of the stick translates to more orders if/when the product is performing well. Less queue-time also leads to more orders. More orders translates to bigger purchases of components -> lower component prices.

Guys I have two things. So I just got my rhino and I am now testing it out as you would. Let me say after using a cls-e brunner with a long extension and metal joystick, it really sucks. Bro compared to that the rhino takes some muscle to pull it out of trim or if under g load! And for prepar3d. I am convinced p3d ffb works better than dcs ffb. I had to tick an option and what effects I wanted in the sim and dude it is implemented better than dcs. I haven’t tried xplane. But yeah this thing is crazy man.
