Okay, so the adapter itself works, just doesn't communicate with the grip. Did the adapter work before or are you trying it the first time?
Pthis is the first time for the adapter & the grip, I haven't had my flight stuff set up for a while.
WYou can try pushing the grip connector in harder
Pok so I have removed the grip extension & have just the wire from the grip going into the adapter, adapter plugged into the Rhino, when I press a button on the grip the base shaft shakes violently
Wprobably the settings are a bit wrong and there's no weight on the base, you can turn off the motors for testing
Pnow the debug is all FF & 00
Pyeah I have the red stop depressed & the buttons show up
Wso it started working now?
Pwithout the extension, so I'm just holding the grip with the wire running to base, when I touch the grip male end going into adapter female end it will play up, as for the violent shaking with a button press I'm not sure what that is

WTry these settings:
Pit goes crazy again straight away even with those settings

Pthose blue bars change when the wire to adapter is touched/moved which stops the input from showing

WReduce the spring strength using the knob, when there is no weight attached it becomes unstable with a high gain
Wonce you have everything mounted you can tune it back up
Poh ok, just testing my vkb grip
Pvkb mcgu & 200mm extension everything stable, as you say no weight is making it unstable
Pwould it be ok to put hot glue on the adapter where the ww grip male end goes in? this bit is very finicky, when I just had the wire from grip the button inputs were good, now again with the extension installed it must be interfereing with the connection to the adapter

Pit's when it bunches up in the grip that it stops working, is it just normal wires inside?

FHello after plugging a new control to my pc with DCS open my rhino loose it’s ffb capability just works as a regular joystick, and I have to restart DCS to get back the ffb, any idea what this happens or how to solve it ?
DIt could be the USB hub?
DMight drop power to the RHINO?
FDon’t know maybe has something to do with windows because in my other pc it doesn’t have that behavior

PHow do I calibrate with a physical endstop? do I uncheck software endstop to start I guess? then what about calibration without the stick ending up off set to the front?
PI'm also getting instability when using the default profile & endstops, moving side to aide x axis

PI can calibrate it obviously but it's not ending up 'off set' for the limiter
WYeah, disable endstops and axis scaling and calibrate the using the auto calibrate tool
P& this will have the stick end up "off set" for the limiter? ie. Y axis 35%+ 50%-?

WTry maybe damper LPF at 4-6Hz
WInertia and frinction also reduce stability
PY axis is good with 5.0Hz but can still feel slight bit on X axis??

Pyeah that's what I meant by "instability" sorry, it vibrated violently then motor safety kicked in. Now with the 5.0Hz & I dropped Inertia & dampner by 5% each I still feel very slight vibration in x axis, like it may go in game
