Hi expected as much and i just have a symlink just in case (mainly because of my own weird emudeck setup incase i forgot to fix some of my symlinks)
TGNOME doesn't do anything with
$HOME/Desktop but Emudeck was written with KDE in mind because of the DeckTwell by default
Ti'm sure there's a way to make it use it, I just never looked
Myeah the install just downloads a desktop files which opens the install
Amaybe i should have asked this another way: is there a live steamdeck image, where i can try bazzite before i flash it?
Hyou can test it with an ssd over usb, but you can run into issues with that
Hnot recommended though but its how i tested it on my main system since i had a lot of stuff to prep on the system before moving over
