Hi expected as much and i just have a symlink just in case (mainly because of my own weird emudeck setup incase i forgot to fix some of my symlinks)
TGNOME doesn't do anything with
$HOME/Desktopwell by default

Hyou can test it with an ssd over usb, but you can run into issues with that

Kthere's no one click factory reset
Ka new user account removes most things you'd customize, and then there's ostree itself making your changes there easy to undo
