HIts really good it's 95% out of the box IMO. Button mapping for the back buttons doesn't work (not a bazzite issue). Legion L +X can be either home menu or on screen keyboard, LL+A brings up QAM. TDP Slider works. You can also change power profile with LL+Y. The only thing thats wonky is the fps slider. We have the 10-60hz option on the latest update but 60 locks it st like 36FPS if you wanna go above that you have to disable frame cap. Still overall a very good and pleasant experience.

Hi remember before you also needed to edit the hosts file and it sucked because it would make sudo act up on the 2nd edit

MI figured out a way to avoid using EasyEffects and Xvfb and instead just use pipewire’s convolver plugin via .config/pipewire/pipewire.conf.d/convolver.conf and an impulse file titled neutral.wav
This way, you can set convolver as your default sink and you’ll get boosted audio at a system level. The only issue I’m running into is trying to get it to work on Fedora (both Nobara and Bazzite).
When you change the volume with the hardware volume buttons in ChimeraOS while in Game Mode, the volume for the virtual sink gets adjusted accordingly. If you try it on Nobara (and I presume Bazzite as well), changing the volume with the hardware buttons or the UI both don’t work and instantly set the volume back to 100%. Any clues as to why this happens?

Myou avoid the performance drain you’d get using easyeffects/jamesdsp this way, plus it launches consistently rather than relying on an Xvfb server

Hno idea, my headset doesnt play super nicely with virtual surround sometimes and causes a loud ass boom so i disabled it after i wrote the just recipe

Mcheers, appreciate the extra info. this is what I’ve been using on my Go, you move the pipewire folder to .config and make sure the path to your .wav file is correct in the .conf file.
Mif the volume control issue gets sorted this could be huge. I never liked relying on easyeffects and Xvfb for a system wide solution

Hi like pipewire more than pulse even though i have been using virtual sinks and dumb audio setup since 2009 with pulse 
Hbut i like how easy it is to replicate my setup now in pipewire compared to pulse
Hwhen i get around to test this it wont be on a handheld though, i will just have to use hardware buttons on my keyboard
Mchanging the volume doesn’t work via the UI either in Game Mode so that probably won’t matter
Mas soon as it registers the new volume level it resets itself to 100% in my own testing
MI tried rebinding the hardware volume buttons to pactl commands so that’s when I noticed how the volume was getting reset regardless
