PSo my base isn't recognized in IL-2 Sturmovik (it's been a while since I played) -- I deleted the input directory, but no dice. Is there anything else that I would need to do for IL-2 to pick it up?

OHi all - I currently have a TM Warthog stcik with 2 x 10cm extensions which I understand will work directly with the VP Force base. I'm planning on buying a Virpil T-50CM2 grip - will I need to buy the virpil extensions or can I reuse the TM Warthog ones (including the cables)?

JI think IL2 does only recognize a limited number of devices. As far as I remember only the first 8 or so... You could try to test with the rhino alone to check if this is your problem.
PAh, I'll give it a go with HidHider. I can see it recognises mfds - and I don't need those for IL-2, lol

THello, can anyone give me some advice for mounting a Rhino to a Simlab P1x? Itβs predominantly a Driving simulator with a Sparco bucket seat so I am trying to find out what extension that I need in order to play helicopter sims and have my virpil grip clear the seat?

PThat was it, HidHide worked a treat. With MFDs and a few irrelevant stuff hidden IL detected the base just fine. :]

WThe adapter as-is will not work, unless VKB has an adapter for legacy bases. Or do you mean if the Mk4 black box will work with the existing adapter?
SIβm not exactly sure how the mk4 and the new black box work with (or donβt work with) the Rhino. Iβm thinking about ordering a mk4 grip and black box and was wondering what is needed to get it to work with the Rhino, or if thereβs hope for adapters to make it work (I own the original mk3 to rhino adapter).
WOnce I'm able to get my hands on a Mk4 extension, I'll might be able to tell more. VKB doesn't even stock them yet afaik.

BSo I saw here that curves are a no-no for the Rhino. Is there another way to add a curve/adjust sensitive for small deflections?
FIsn't there a curve setting inside the vpforce app? I'm not sure as I still have to toy around with the settings

P@plehmann you could also try DevReorder probably, to do effectively the same, but I haven't tried that. I use HidHide to just hide the simpit from all these primitive games that will pick up pedals or other axis and just use those as if it's a gamepad.

Danyone here know if there is an easy way to shift the center position of the stick? lets say i want the center to be further forward, is the only way to do that messing with the callibration so it thinks that my new center is "true" center or is there a other way?
D(im trying to do something similar as in the F15 where forward travel is alot less than backwards travel on the stick)
THow well does it work as a "standard" stick, in games that don't support force feedback? How does it compare to virpil or winwing bases when used in such a way?

MThe easist way to do this (and the way I have it setup) is to put a 50%ish limit on forward travel of the stick, save that as a profile, and then use telemffb to load that profile when you're in the F-15E.

Fnot that I'm aware of.
BI've had the TMW, VPC CM2 and CM3 bases in the past. IMO the Rhino is the best-feeling base of all of them, even when not using FFB. And note that you can turn on "Hardware Force Trim" in the configurator app, which will let you use the trim hat to physically move the stick around. That has no reliance on any FFB telemetry; it's all done in the Magick Rhino Box
