CWorkers run as V8 Isolates, same Javascript Engine as chrome, similiar environment. Can't run Docker Containers. Javascript is the main language, otherwise other languages can be used in Workers via WASM and Bindings back to Javascript, but there's a 10 MB Worker Size Limit that heavily limits what you can do. You'd have to fit the entire runtime and code within that. Additionally Workers can only be triggered on incoming http requests (no tcp/udp unbound) and can only make tcp outbound via a special mechanism, and they don't last for long, need to have fast startup time (400ms max)

PHi, I have a logpush question - how frequently does pushing occur / what are the thresholds (roughly) ?
BI am using a presigned URL(through CF Worker) for uploading the file(video and audio) in R2, but I noticed when the file has been uploaded to R2, it's using different file type which affects my transcription request to fail. And when I download the uploaded audio/video file Iam not able to play it in a media player. did I missed something during the upload process? Thanks
VCloudflare pushes logs in batches as close to real time as possible, it may deliver files more than one time per minute

VNope, you can't adjust that in Logpush but not sure if there's anything you can do in R2's side
ENothing you can do in R2 either, the operations are consumed whenever pushes happen and there's not really anything you can do to minimise that. R2 is treated as a destination like any other

RHello everyone! Seeking some advice here. I’m using wrangler and the unstable_dev function to run end to end tests with cucumber-js. I can run it locally but the remote (passing local: false) in the wrangler dev options is failing systematically when I try to use it in a GitLab ci pipeline. I’m trying now to make it work using a local docker container and trying different OS and node/ gcloud combinations. Anyone was able to make it work? Thanks a bunch

HNo. When uploading a Worker, it will initialize it once to make sure it can start up. Here, you see it erroring because it expects an OpenAI key that isn’t there
