BWhat kind of issues?
FI have Rebar enabled. Forza Horizon 4 is one of the games which benefits heavily from Rebar enabled.
But it's maybe behaving differently on Linux.
I will try.
Note that I'm not the only one who is having these issues, there are people in protondb saying the same, even in 2023.
This is why I avoided Steam version & played Microsoft Store version back when I used Windows.

MThe behavior seem different,my games keeps disappearing and reappearing.
Sit's that Tekken7 and Horizon Zero Dawn, stuttered to hell on my R6600/R3300x PC while it worked well on the steam deck, and all I did was shut off the rebar and everything turned butter smooth on bazzite-deck and CachyOS

SAnyone know how to change the temperature? I did one restart and everything is tinted off white now.
MSteam-patch for controller is not consistent, sometimes it works and sometimes not, after a couple of reboot then it works.
KExactly why we ship handygccs instead
KShould be able to from settings, some updates to this on the way
SYeah there's an option for night mode but this isn't in night mode lol, night mode is egregiously yellow
MWhen the steam patch it works great, the controller feels like steamdeck. Makes very easy to use.

Ti cannot parse games on emudeck but when i was in steamos it worked as steam is closed

Yhow the heck do i get back to game mode from gnome?
Mthere should be a little dot you can press in the top left corner
Mreturn to game mode is an option there

DYou'll need to install gnome extensions manually to enable the option since you rebased from the kde ver
Yyou mean the program right? I'm assuming the menu that you guys mention is an extention just like normal in gnome

FTurned off ReBar & tried mangohud fps limiter, still no dice. Noticeable hitching is very annoying.
It's definitely the problem with optimization of Forza Horizon 4 for Steam.
Nothing changed compared to when I played the initial Steam version back in 2021.
I guess I will have to resort to Windows for this game.

Ydid this and enable all extentions and then everything just worked

Yturning off hinabi fixed it
Yokay so im starting to think the gnome version just has issues the other version doesnt have. i closed steam for a second to do something and now after opening it i can no longer use my trackpad

DThe issues are because you rebased from kde, I did the same and had to go back because it's buggy. You should do a fresh install I think
KIf you close steam you won't have proper controls, that's normal
Yyeah but whats NOT normal is the controls not going back to normal even after i open it

Ygoing back to game mode using the touch screen then going back to desktop mode seems to fix it though
