let me find out specifically, but it was the one under the releases on github. i did manage to install it once today just fine but because i was just testing in that instance i didn't set things up how i wanted to, and i went back to do it again and i'm getting errors :/

there's only 1 offline ISO that was released months ago. it is super out of date and justfiles have been revamped. if you did, open a terminal and enter:

rpm-ostree update

rpm-ostree update

and reboot when it finishes so you are up to date

you can open the bazzite portal and install nix again when the new update fixes the spec

yeah and the new nix justfile is overwrotten the ujust executable. the actual new nix justfile isn't in the justfile folder

one thing there is i also did not select nix to be installed (but i don't know if anything else in that list of things to install depends on nix)

i'm also woefully unfamiliar with desktop-ish linux these days. i've been living and breathing it in both large-scale server linux and embedded linux (sometimes even without mmus) but i haven't used linux on a system i directly interact with in like 7-8 years

ah okay. well this is a first-time setup utility that bazzite uses. im not sure which ones depend entirely on nix tbh. the first page serves as a GUI for certain justjust commands (these are commands that are basically recipes)

but yeah odd because you didn't select nix to be installed... but it seems whatever the issue is getting fixed. when the update builds, your system can automatically update (or type ublue-updateublue-update in the terminal to beat the scheduled automatic update), then reboot and try the first-time setup again... sorry this happened.

oh wow, looking at that first link; the file /etc/sudoers.d/nix-sudo-env/etc/sudoers.d/nix-sudo-env there looks like a just config file.

from what i gather the bazzite portal is used for getting the system up as a deck-like? i tried just doing the defaults+decky+emudeck and it still crapped out :/

The nix justfile was overwriting ujust instead of being copied over to the directory containing the rest of the justfiles

I just rebased to latest earlier and I'm not sure where I should be looking. Color Management doesn't seem to have any relevant options (not to mention I can't change icc profiles with it either)

Looks like it's complaining that the packages are all the same version... Which really shouldn't be an error. We could pipe the return as true and it likely wouldn't be problematic. I figured it would help when things mismatch (as they often do)
