Hdont think so, unless your decks usb mode is set to DRD in the bios, then you should set it to XHCI instead as i think we are still waiting for DRD support to be added to the kernel upstream
Honly thing i can think of if installing through the dock using a monitor is supported
Hnot sure if it is though as i dont run bazzite on the deck

HDRD is dual role device, it supports things like OTG
FI used an external monitor installing bazzite on my OG Deck. Editing the boot command to 1920x1080 worked. I couldn't read anything on the Deck screen, obviously, lol, but the monitor worked fine.
But doing the same doesn't work for the OLED Deck. I set it to 1920x1080 and changed the tag from :39 to :testing, and when the installer comes up, it's spread out across both screens and completely unusable, lol.

HXHCI is what has been standard and most normal throughout the life of usb3
ZIs there supposed to be 4 entries on grub? I see two versions of Linux and ostree:0 and ostree:1 on both

HOTG is on the go, think of it as the ability to mount 1 computer disk that is on, onto another computer that is on using an usb cable, assuming the computer youre connecting supports DRD
KNo problem. I'm installing on a fresh PC that doesn't have anything important. I've done this a lot

Hhowever DRD support is not in the fedora kernel yet i believe, so XHCI mode is the only one supported, and a recent bios update to the steamdeck changed the default usb mode from XHCI to DRD

FSeems like the installer doesn't respect the resolution coming from grub? The OLED display is vertically oriented, apparently, so I changed the resolution from 1280x800 to 1200x1920 (just to see if it would show the whole installer) and it didn't change anything.
MI had to install in basic graphics mode on my OLED
Mit’ll still be vertical but the sizing is usable

Hits a bug i believe that causes grub to duplicate the 2 ostree entries, just ignore it

ASorry if this is a dumb question, but is there any point in converting "home" from ext3 to BTRFS on Bazzite?
KYou'd gain zstd compression from doing that, which helps with performance too

AUnfortunately using Phillipp Richter's BTRFS doesn't seem to work on 39-testing. It can't see any directories.
FDid you install testing outright, or did you rebase after install?
Minstall iso -> latest -> testing. This was a few days ago though. But I don’t think testing has the finalized patched OLED kernel quite yet.

FGotcha. I asked because I installed testing outright by changing the tag in grub, but it wasn't booting. Eventually did, though, looks like it's fine.

MI’ve been on Nobara myself but try to help troubleshoot stuff that applies to Bazzite too in the process of OLED support being added

ZWelp, seems like no matter what I do the Deck defaults to the Windows Boot Manager every time
AHas anyone else had luck changing their home folder to BTRFS? I can't get into work on 39-testing.
KThat doesn't touch your home directory, Fedora defaults to btrfs on home. That patch's only responsibility is the MicroSD card (Making steam format them as BTRFS and mount BTRFS partitions)
