Zfor some reason HDR was already working for me (with some additional env vars) I guess the kernel used included some color management patches already, but having more patches and being in-line with more up to date patches is good
KIt can work without it, but at a performance cost
KThe OLED deck itself requires numerous other patches just due to changes that have been made. There was also the issue of drd versus xhci that's now resolved
