Flatseal is installed by default, it handles the permissions of Flatpak applications. By default, the Heroic/Bottles apps only requests access to Downloads, not your config folder, hence they cannot read any config files created by mangohud/goverlay.
@KyleGospo @EyeCantCU @nickname ok I'm slowly enabling more answeroverflow in each channel, not just the forum one. It only works on threaded posts though, so if you're helping out thread it and then it'll show up on web searches, which is starting to gain some traffic.
I though it was AMDGPU or gamescope shenanigans tho, since program never crashed (and with memory corruption there is no way to just never get that if memory is gone XD)
Ok. Then I will just rebase to 39 around the time 40 gets ready to release. Unfortunately, I have to stay on X for now because AFAIK there is no good way to do remote desktop on KDE under Wayland. Not yet anyway.
Wait, what about Plasma 6? Am I mistaken that X won't work on Plasma 6? I think that is supposed to be released in February or so. Will Fedora/Bazzite update immediately? Or maybe wait for a point release?
Ok. That's awesome. I wasn't sure that Plasma 6 would continue support for X11. After googling a bit, it seems they will support it initially, but will drop it later in some point release. This is good news as neither KRDP nor Kyber are ready to go yet for remote desktop on Wayland. Once those are working Remote Desktop on KDE will be quite good under Wayland.
