MAt least until Plasma 6 is out, I let my gaming PC windows partition take care of both ray tracing and HDR for me and just moonlight stream to my Deck
KI haven't run Windows in years and don't intend to start now, so I'll live with no RT for the time being

CIt's okay, as mentioned, that's normal when using RT, which seems that AMD cards recently got a performance bump on it
W@HikariKnight @KyleGospo I got around to installing Bazzite on my system. I was asking you two some questions about overclocking Nvidia the other day.

I've had a breakthrough! Overclocking Nvidia is totally possible on newer cards without requiring X11 using the new NVML library and a python script to easily write into the required C calls.

I will mention: GWE as installed by Bazzite Portal is worthless even in an X11 session as GWE still requires the coolbits flag to be modified in etc/X11/xorg.conf. Modifying clocks in this way does not seem possible in a safe way in Bazzite as it requires X11 to be running as root.
I would recommend anyone else looking to set clocks on nvidia to try the NVML route.

AThanks. Should I just update testing for to try this? Also, I suspect that the script will need to be modified to not work in nested desktop
KIt hasn't built yet but after a build yes, do you by chance know the work around that was necessary for nested?
KI can apply that before it builds just so it's done and ready
Athis is what i did before, and it seemed to work fine. haven't tested this recently though, let me re-test it now.

Aconfirmed that it works, also one more minor change required for the script. it should rotate left, not normal. here's the script I used

ᕲdoes bazzite format the sd card weirdly? kde partition manager says it was formatted as btrfs but i plug it into adapter on windows and windows wants to format the drive even though i have winbtrfs installed and other btrfs drives in the system that are read fine and stuff
