I wouldn't install more than 2 mods without a mod manager. And fyi, the TTW installer currently doesn't actually run on linux, but you can copy the generated files over.

Seems like Wine doesn't properly emulate GetDiskFreeSpaceEx Windows API function which I use. Free space check can be easily disabled in the installer though.

so what happens is you'd usually browse to your folder path using z:\...z:\..., but due to z pointing to root and a bunch of stuff going on there, this makes it appear that the free space of any folder is just a few GB

if you create new drive with a more specific target, it'll use that new target folder as the base line for free space. in my example above, /mnt/second/mnt/second's free space will be calculated for d:\d:\

mount a folder or two above where you want it to go but along the same path, so if you want something in your home folder, use /home/USER/home/USER or maybe /home/USER/Games/home/USER/Games or the drive in question

note that you should use MO2 v2.4.4 because 2.5.0+ do not work on versions of wine lower than 8.21 (and no version of GE or Proton are based on 8.21)

side note: the git version of SteamTinkerLaunch locks MO2 to v2.4.4, which alleviates part of the issue if you want to go that route, but I don't know what you'd need to do to get that working with the GOG version
