Tso what happens is you'd usually browse to your folder path using
z:\...if you create new drive with a more specific target, it'll use that new target folder as the base line for free space. in my example above,
/mnt/secondd:\the issue I'm talking about arises because in Windows, one does not typically use symlinks across drives while Linux paths are fairly arbitrary on where things can go
Tyou can symlink a drive or folder to anywhere else, and it's not immediately obvious where things are as well

Tmount a folder or two above where you want it to go but along the same path, so if you want something in your home folder, use
/home/USER/home/USER/Games
KFedora has SSH default enabled, but it's prevented from using your password and requires you to configure an ssh key
KIf you do that, I highly recommend using the cockpit flatpak

Tif you still want to use MO2, you can install it into the game's prefix and install the various dependencies
Tnote that you should use MO2 v2.4.4 because 2.5.0+ do not work on versions of wine lower than 8.21 (and no version of GE or Proton are based on 8.21)
